This video is a response on a comment from Brian on one of his videos where we had a chat about how I made my programming adapters to program the Attiny chips. I hope this is useful or at least interesting ;-)

"Take one of those chips ... and throw it away" :D Yeah they are nice programmers! Thats a good idea with the ZIF socket, I must buy some! Amazing lab! So much cool looking stuff. I will do a tour of my work area soon, I think you will be disappointed by the lack of electronic equipment I have though! (No PSU, no Oscilloscopes etc) Nice collection of DMM too! Have you used any of the logging or bluetooth on the new one? Thanks a lot for the video Michael, I actually really appreciate you making it, not just for the attiny stuff but the lab tour too. Brian

Yes, dropping this little Attiny on the floor was not planned at all but if one hand tries to hold the phone and this phone than is in the way so you can’t see what you are doing this is exactly what happens:-) For the things you do mostly (esp and Arduino programming) you really don’t need a lot of tools. But it is nice to have. And I collected those over several years. Electronics is my hobby since I am able to hold an iron and this started at maybe 7 or 8 I think. I just got to play with Dave’s new DMM for about an hour or so (you know the little ones stealing your time) so I tried not out the logging. Unfortunately there is no app for iOS available until now and because I have no android phone to hand I also could not try this but maybe my father wants to get rid of his old android phone, than I will try. Maybe I will do a little hands on video. Suggestion for your live show tomorrow: you could surely easy add a stop watch and a countdown timer. I hope I can participate tomorrow. Regards Michael

Yeah i find it tough work to do anything with one hand anytime I've tried it, I guess I'll have to show off my solution when i do my tour, I kind of showed it at the last live stream though. Yeah I agree, I kind of want to buy them, but I actually am not sure if there was ever a time I needed them. I tend to even not to do lower level stuff where I would need to see the sequence of a signal, normally my DMM telling me if it's high or low is usually enough! I'm pretty new into it, I did Electronics and Computer engineering in college, and I did some modding of consoles around that time, but when I graduated college I went into software development and never did anything with electronics til about 2 years ago when I bought my first few arduinos/esp8266 Nice ideas! I was thinking of making a stream timer which kind of fits into your ideas too, so if I tell my wife I'm only going to stream for 30 minutes I don't end up streaming for 100 minutes like that last time :D
