So I'm assuming that the issue with my ATU-100-0A showing TUNE, but not activating the relays/not tuning is due to the power required without this program change?? Was thinking it was just defective since my other ATU-100 EXT came out the box working great.
Hi, thanks for this tutorial! I have just tried to do this with my Pickit 3, almost succeeded. At the point when I read the device, I get only the first byte, the rest is just zeros, how come? Is it really working without hardware mod ? The video in your description says it will only work with the hardware mod he describes.
When i connect my pickit 3 every thing loads, says it's connected to the device, but when I read my device, everything is zeros. Does the atu 100 power need to be on?
So now the Pickit2" arrived. But with it my first problems: sudo ./pk2cmd -B./ -I -P says: "Auto-Detect: No known part found." So it does not tell my which PIC chip is inside. If I select a PIC16F54, PIC16F57 or PIC16F59 because these are the only ones which I can select with the PICKIT2 Software in window$ without getting errors directly there seems to be some communication. But reading the ATU-100 chip does not work at all. Normally in the PICKIT2 software under "source" the ATU-100 should be found and the chip content be read but that does not work and I do not know why. Though it tries reading, the Busy LED is flashing but the hex code is only 0000 or FFFF. Nothing else. So I assume either my model is not the model it should be, or it has any kind of defect or the pickit2 is not able to communicate with the ATU-100. On the supported devices list the PIC16F1938 is mentioned though. And this is the chip in my ATU-100. The Pickit self check went ok. So there seems to be no obvious problem. (???)
