No, just register your atv with the state. Most bigger powersports shops should do registrations as well. Hk powersports is great

Not sure if you got your answer or if found out yet but if not I’m from out of state too and was able to print and mail in the registration paper work if not you can register them at the Atv rental shop at the entrance to the trails
