Rebuilding an Arctic Cat ATV - Part 15 - Restoring the front A-Arms, front springs and shocks
I think it is a little too much to say that I "restored the front shocks" because I just removed the rust from them and repainted them. I didn't open the shocks to service the interior components.
The A-arm bushings that I replaced have the exact same dimensions as the original ones, the only difference is the material from which they are made of: UHMW-PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight - Polyethylene)
I chose to go get them done out of UHMW-PE at a local Lathe Shop because they are much more durable than the original ones!
P.S.: I'm not a professional! I learned to do this myself and I don't have much experience, but I'm open minded and I'm trying to improve my methods, so I'd really appreciate any feedback, advice, recommendation or constructive criticism! :)
