The KFX is a very well designed machine, it has a nice narrow stance for trails, yet it has those nice long a-arms, same idea as the DS 450. They're both great machines to ride, but its hard not to have fun on any of the 450s, they all handle great, jump great, and they're all pretty reliable if you keep up on maintenance. The best test is to go from dealer to dealer and test them all, theres one out there for everyone and you cant go wrong. The KFX is personally one of my favorites.
The 'choke knob' is actually a enriching knob for cold starts. The fuel injection still makes the ATV run cleaner, faster, and more efficient at all elevations and conditions.
Either one are going to be so much better than the Warrior you won't believe it. I slightly prefer the KFX on the track, but since you're already a Yamaha guy I'd recommend the YFZ
@AlandHannes That's as tough of a question as asking what motocross bike would work the best for you. Any of the true race quads should be awesome - KFX, YFZ, LTZ R, TRX R
They all have a bit different power band and slightly different handling characteristics so it's really a personal preference. With that said I love the newer (not early) YFZs in the sand dunes. Also the KFX.
@ATVTVCOM Which should I buy? Honda 400x, Yamaha yfz 450 or this. I already have a raptor 350 se. I want to use it on the road, mountains, tricks and trails sometimes, as I use the raptor for trails.
@breezyatv90 Any of these will be a HUGE improvement in performance over the 400EX. HUGE! But if you are looking at a torquey 4-stroke you might also look at the Raptor 700.
@LILMG also there were not GNCC factory back teams either thats why he went to his honda then polaris picked him up but he olny races in the UTV classes now
@19wizzy93 Didn't I already answer this for you on another video? Make sure the chain is in good condition. Replace it if needed. Then keep it properly adjusted and oiled.
I cannot pick which ATV is best for you Enrique as you are at a different experience level, ride in a totally different area, and have different preference. As I said before, they are all great machines and there is very little difference between the three 450s. The Raptor will feel different because it is a big bore machine more designed for fast trail riding rather than racing.
@infiniteloop99 For me, I'd choose the more comfortable ATV rather than the most powerful. That being said I have ridden the newest Yamaha 450 as well as the Raptor 700 and love them both in the dunes.
They are all very good machines. The best choice for you will depend on how you want to ride....The Raptor will feel very different than the other three.
@infiniteloop99 if your not riding really hard and sliding it sideways the wideness of the bike doesnt matter. so you dont need a race bike most likely and go with suzuki or polaris, suzuki makes the best quads i own a lt230s from 86! and it still starts first kick. and polaris is made in america alot of people bash themm for what ever reason? idk why but i also just got a new ranger 800xp and its great so from experience of the products get suzuki or polaris
for trail riding i prefer a atv with reverse.. its more usefull than alot of people think, so you have the raptor700 and the kfx450r.. i own a kfx450r and can tell you that i love the quad =) never tried a raptor so i cant say how it feels =/..
What does he mean by "no EFI on any other motocross bikes?" The 06 Suzuki LT-R 450 had it back in 06 and the Cannondale 440 had it in 02. Kawi is ridiculous sometimes...
I'd get the RZR, but I'm 60 years old and haven't raced since the late 70s: What's the point? These are two very different machines so you should get the one that you will enjoy the most...
i had a 110cc atv and he dropt the cain on hillclimb or big drift..and now i em worry abaut atv whit cain thets why i asked if Kfx 450r drop the cain.."sorry for my english"
Looking at the honda honda has so much more potential of making a good ass bike they never ever hardly make any modifications there atvs are super reliable but i wish they would make some mods to the 450r but right now i have had my 400ex for a month now basicly brand new guy i bough it from never road it but im 6 foot 3 in 230lbs i need more power i want honda cause i love honda but i wish they do more to there qauds as far as modifications u see kawasaki , yahmaha ,suzki doing it y not honda
