Thought spring had arrived a few weeks ago but then winter returned and we got out for another tracking ride. We explored some of the old gold mine area that we had visited in the fall with Lappeman.

This is a nice ride. Glad we have no wolfs down my way, look at the size of them prints! It is amazing how much grab the tracks add to the Quad's, you went up that hill like nothing... Spring is in they air, it will be here in no time, don't get discourage guy's!!! Thanks for sharing.

Redeemer mine on Easter was fitting. I installed 3 out of 4 tracks on the ATV yesterday. I may have to go up to 12,000 feet to find snow to test them though.

Well...815 AM Apr. 4. -8C and snowing in K-town. Mother Nature reminding us she is still in charge. LOL Gotta love those tracks. Glad to see you guys out on the trails. Have you ever poked through the tailings of those mines for stray particles of gold? That might be fun. Great video guys. Stay safe on that ice though.

+LowRanger No kidding...winter came late, but it is sure not leaving anytime soon! We didn't get much riding in this winter, but had fun when we did. sometimes we stop and sift through the rocks a bit, but not nuggets so far. Have to bring our metal detector out one of these days..who knows what we might find. Thanks for checking out the video and no more ice running for us...mind you it is -17C this morning!

oh cubbeezx .. I forgot to tell you .. does track are so amazing .. you and ck wont have any problem with does tracks system in spring time .. does track can climb like crazy .. my best friend name fred got same atv as yours but its 2 upseat and longer frame and I did try it very steep hill and wow .. its amazing .. its way to big for me .. I rather have outlander 500 or 650 that will be big enough for me ..

+rypkaill Where we live in Ontario we don't have any organized ATV trails. We are riding on bush/logging roads mainly and have tons of lakes in the area. Most of where we live is "crown" or public land so a never ending supply of places to explore. Thanks very much for watching us in Norway!

April/2/2016 here in N.B its 15 above. The rivers and brooks are open water now and only snow in the woods. I got new bigger tiers for my 300 Honda. now it goes in deep mud and stuff.

That was an excellent adventure! Quite the buffalo jump at 10:28. YIKES! John Wayne use to go along with you on your buffalo hunts!!??. That is sooo cool! LOL I was a little nervous about the ice conditions when you were driving out on the lake where CK got stuck so bad. Had to keep reminding myself that all was OK because this isn't live video - hahahaha! That thing is such a tank with those tracks on though - pretty much made that climb up the rock look like a walk in the park! That last little trail you were on before you came out on the road was great! My kinda trail and I love when they actually come out somewhere or take you to something other than a dead end. You're editing is so well done between the 2 cameras that a feller forgets it's even there. You do a really great job of that Cubbee (or is it CK who does the editing?). Loved it! Thanx for sharin'!

We had a blast reminiscing about the buffalo and John Wayne adventures LOL Lots of ice here still...-15C yesterday and more snow overnight..winter won't leave this year. We were impressed with how well the tracks climbed up that steep hill..we've been here in the summer and it can be nasty on tires..lots of slipping and sliding. CK handles the "social media" and I look after all the video editing..self taught and still lots to learn! Thanks for stopping by.

+Victor Hébert We use the Garmin Topo maps, the Ibycus maps and then a local map of logging roads that we were able to get. We also record our own tracks to map where we have been. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching.

+Kyle Gale No issues turning the tracks ...they don't rub or anything. They don't turn as sharp though. The Can Am's power steering makes it easy, but the Grizzly is really hard to steer at very slow speeds with the tracks on.

wow cubbeezx .. you still got alots of snow still?? ... wow .. here in my town called Coniston Ontario Canada .. we got only a snow banks and in the bushes .. well we got at no snow .. well just abit .. but the creeks been up a lot and lake well I never go on the lake anymore because there is few vehicles went threw the ice in march .. and anyway cubbeezx and ck .. very awesome video

Hi Cubbeezx and Ck how do you like the kimpex commander ws4 tracks? I am looking at both kimpex and camoplast for a kodiak 450.

We do really like the Kimpex Commander WS4's and have run them for a couple of years now. We found that the Grizzly turned easier with the WS4's on and they are a bit wider than the Tatou's we had so a bigger footprint on the snow. Nothing wrong the Tatou's though. Hope that helps!

Nice video. CK Doyou mind me asking what make are your helmets and how did you secure the go pros on them. Did you just glue the flat mount bracket that game with the go pro. What kind of adhesive did you use.

So Cubee, what track do you like better and why? Commanders or Tatou 4S? I got the 2016 Grizzly, now I have to decide on what track kit to get, any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Great video by the way!

Congratulations on your new Grizzly! They are similar, but we found that the Grizzly steered easier when the Commander's were on the Grizzly. They are also a bit wider than the Tatou's and have slightly longer lugs. Hope that helps!

Thanks, I am really excited about the new Grizzly! My current ride is 23 years old so I am well past due for an upgrade! Thanks for the info on the tracks, that is the exact info I was looking for. My dealer has both and was actually trying to lean me towards the Commanders, and they are $200 less so that is a bonus! Thanks again!

We were riding 1986 Honda's before we got our Yamaha's so your story is similar to ours. You're going to love your new Grizzly...you will notice how much "comfier" your ride will be LOL Enjoy your tracks too when you get them ..they turn the ATV's into tanks!

i see you have both the grizzly and the can am im thinking of buying the can am outlander max xt 650 but my only concern is the visco lok 4 wheel drive.What do you find better the grizzly system or the can am?

+harbinjennifer24 We were pleasantly surprised with the visco lock. It has the quick engage and it is nice to have it just "kick in"..no need to push any buttons like the Grizzly. Works great!

+Bud Listar Not sure in this video what you mean, but in the newest video with Team Mud Pro we drive through 2 huge vertical metal culverts...they call them "load liners". Logging trucks drive through them and they "line up all the wood" on the truck. Simple but effective.

+jdmbud1 We are using the mics from the SENA bluetooth communicators..they make a "backpack" for the Gopro that attached to one of the Gopro's and it records our conversations.

+Peter Adams A few years ago we had some issues with "stalkers" to protect our privacy we use Nicknames. In older videos Cubbee showed his face all the time. IN a couple he didn't and viewers started to make a big deal out of it so then it become a running joke that he doesn't show his face. He is like the "wilson" of Home Improvement LOL

So sorry to hear about your family. We get so many requests to do shout outs that our whole video would be full of shout outs so to be fair we don't give any. Sorry.
