Part 3 - Julia goes ballistic upon hearing Jack tell her he doesn't love her anymore. (Michael's poor cheek is red and I just want to kiss it better!) Jack tries to calm her down and she does for a bit after a plant gets broken. Jack begins to say that they need to start living apart, but gets interrupted by a knock at the door. Hal has stopped by to share new information on the death of Flashdance. Julia runs upstairs. Jack, looking very defeated, accepts the momentary distraction. The autopsy shows that the horse was fed a large amount of a human sedative. Hal is still on the Craig kick and believes he's behind it. Jack is more open to other possibilities and starts putting things together in his mind. He asks Hal to leave and yells at Julia to come back downstairs. He has some questions for her about the horse...

@likesunshine71 LOL, yeah... it didn't take much. You could always tell she was wound a little too tight, if you know what I mean. She hauls off on Jack though. You can't tell so much on the clip, but in my copy you can clearly see the red mark on his cheek for the rest of the scene.

Michael Park said that Annie Parisse accidentally hit him for real in that scene, lol.

And boy did she ever lose her mind... good grief. LOL... but whenever someone states that CarJack "made" Julia go crazy, I always remind them that whoever gets hooked on drugs while hooking up with David Stenbeck was crazy from the get go. Julia just went from crazy to psychotic... and it didn't take that much of a push.

I know all the things that Julia did later, but at this point, my heart bleeds for her. She was innocent and fragile and everything she went through, and loving a man who loved another woman made her crack over time.

I think Jack has treated her terrible. Lying and cheating just months after getting married. Yes she's unstable but it doesn't help when you just got married and your husband is cheating. In real life the betrayal does drive people off the deep end.

I could tell from her very first episode in 1998 that she had no coping skills. She was always fragile but she was the nicest person in Oakdale at first. Since she left Jack and Carly alone after she escaped, I wonder if she eventually became the person she used to be.

As much as I wasn't fond of Julia and the way they tried to portray her as the anti-Carly (good and wholesome) - AP did a fantastic job in loosing her mind.

I never liked her but I can see how she flipped. Jack convinced her he loved her and it would work out, then almost immediately starts lying and cheating. The guy is a hot mess, not worth crying over. I do love the psycho storyline and she plays it well. I appreciate her more now, looking back. I wish they hadn't cut her out of the show.

@@mykidsaresupercute Agreed, but Annie Parisse asked to leave. She was ready to move on to Law & Order (although she didn't stay very long there either). Julia got away with everything in the end, no consequences. Everyone knew what she did but she still escaped from Oakdale. In Annie Parisse's last episode, Julia even got to send Jack that "World's Greatest Dad" tape as a parting gift.
