Hal and Emily are looking for Owen, Julia's freaky mute friend from the psych-ward. They want to speak with Julia, but Dr. Michaels doesn't allow it. However, one of the nurses notices their visit. Meanwhile, Jack comes to check on Carly to see how she is after her night in jail. They talk and are unfortunately interupted by Craig and Cass who've come to bail her out. Jack is upset and leaves. Back at the hospital, Julia is nervous and wants to know why Hal and Emily were looking for her. She speaks with Dr. Michaels who is suspicious of Julia's behavior and asks the nurse to keep an eye on her. She says she will, but it seems that Julia is calling the shots. Later on, Molly comes to bail out Carly only to find she's too late and Craig beat her to it. Molly accidently lets it slip that Carly gave Craig money to save Lucy and this just further infuriates Jack. Hal and Emily show up looking for police help from Jack, but he's in no mood to try and help them - especially if it lets Craig off the hook. He storms out of the police station and heads to the courthouse leaving Hal and Emily on their own.
