Auberge Du Vieux-Port in Montreal. Room tour, room 101 

In Old Montreal, right across the street from Old Port is this charming boutique hotel with rustic charm. The room is lovely and has all you need, but the best feature is the location. Be mindful though if you are sensitive to street noise you will want to be on a higher floor. It’s no bother to me, but if you don’t want to hear the trash truck at 8 am or people enjoying their meals in the outdoor restaurant (not loud, but you can hear faintly through the windows)-- request a higher floor. Wonderful staff! I would definitely stay here again.
