IM SCREAMING! The amount of discomfort you had was so damn good. This why her fans love her. She is off putting to normal people but we just see a chill weird chick with a dead pan voice and eyes that when met can shake you to your core. Shes fantastic.
She had a stroke when she was 20 and never fully recovered. She has a condition called 'expressive aphasia' which affects how a person talks. They have a hard time using connecting words in sentences and so their speech can sound halting and odd. So what seems 'awkward' to us is just her way of speaking. And also, she has a kooky sense of humor. She's fantastic!

She said she feels like people put her in a weird box years ago because of a character she played on Parks & Recreation Who was weird and she just does the weird humor now because people won’t give her a chance otherwise 😂 it’s all just her humor

i know she’s an actress but i don’t think i’ve actually seen her in anything, i only know her from her interviews but she always cracks me up in those. her deadpan and sarcastic sense of humor is hilarious to me.
Her sense of humor is gold. How she makes the moment awkward and uncomfortable is totally funny. Its like she flirts with the gullible putting on a poker face not giving away any emotion just to get that "what the fuck" reaction. They probably requested it because she is in a show that is very much recommended by fans of the Office. Parks and Rec is definitely up your alley. The main character is a female version of Michael Scott who is more loveable instead of cringe. Remember Mos? (Dwights brother I think?) He produced it.

I find whether you like Audrey Plaza to be a decent gauge of your humor. If you don't like her, you're probably not into layered humor with tons of layers of ironies and references. And while the whole "only intelligent people like Rick and Morty" meme is kind of silly, what type of humor you like does say something about you.
