I bought one off of your site, can't wait to get it! Also, I saw on another Q50 forum that a special GPS cable adapter is needed to use the factory GPS antenna. Would you happen to know anything about this and if so, what do I need to get? Thanks!
No problems. I've got a full time job + trying to wrap up a turbo install + be a present family man lol. Its coming though! I'm daily driving the MK6 and it is awesome!
I’m curious as to how the warranty is like with this company in your experience and would you say it’s a long term mod you can keep in your vehicle? Does this void any warranties?
1 yr warranty. definitely an essential long-term mod for our cars. I had the previous version in my Q for over a year and wouldn't have it any other way - the only way I'd pull it out is if there was a significant upgrade available.
Please test the car play phone call microphone performance. With my MK5 many people complain about audio cutting out and echoing or not being able to hear me well. Even after changing the settings.
I bought a mark 6 can’t seem to get Aucar to email me letting me know a delivery date . They don’t seem to respond at all:-( any advise.? I already paid them for it. Any input would be appreciated. How refutable is AU car?
Aucar is definitely reputable, but their service and responsiveness isn't great. Your order will likely ship at the end of the month - they're patching all the US units based on feedback from my tests.
I can’t get them too respond at all either. It would sure be nice to hear something about a delivery date. Can you c Cj intact them at all on our behalf? Feeling anxious over this🙁🙁

Quick question about the MK6 and the MK5, I understand this is running off of an android OS and you have access to the play store and such. My question is, for applications requiring an internet connection such as Netflix or RU-vid for example, how would you go about using them since you technically aren’t connected to anything?
For the MK5, most people provide it internet via a hotspot. For MK6, you can either use a hotspot or it comes with a 4g SIM if you want to have a dedicated connection for it. Alternatively, both support carplay and Android auto which don't require a separate data connection

Idk i feel like for the lack of the physical buttons at the bottom i would ratger save the little bit of money, buy the mk5 and get the firmware upgrade with the difference in cost
All the physical buttons are still there. I'm not here to push you either way - there's gonna be a flood of used MK5s hitting marketplaces for cheap soon, go to town!
Just my .02 sell it ASAP fam. Soon market is gonna be flooded by ppl selling their 5 to get the 6 so get in front! There are actually a couple ppl in the comments of this vid asking about buying a 5 😎
Wow I just got the mark5 last month, I'm not really pleased with the product the zlink never works, thats the main reason I wanted this product for android auto, so at this point its just looks good in the car, I know your doing the 6 but any info on the andriod auto for the 5, or me exchanging for the 6, i literally just got the 5
Hey Ernie! Sorry to hear you're not pleased. There's no exchange program. You may have success selling it privately (sooner rather than later, since I'm betting lots of people will be selling their 5s to get the 6, kinda like iPhone people do when there's a new gen releasing)
I got rid of mine because Zlink was so spotty and the whole reason I wanted the system was for CarPlay. I didn’t want to have to create a hot spot every time I got in the car so I could use the navigation and apps
@Lorenzo Mays thx!! Nah I don’t do installs but i provide detailed installation videos on my channel. Most people do it themselves in an hour, the only tool needed is a screwdriver👍🏽
Also has anything change with the installation?? Meaning are the cables set up the same way?? I'll wait for your review before pulling the trigger..Lastly do you know if Serge will put is custom firmware on this?
Haven't installed it yet as I'm doing a thorough bench test first. But the plugs on the back and the cables all look 99% the same. I'm curious if I can just swap screens and retain the wiring when its time.
Sergey hasn't gotten hands on with this as far as I know. Its an entirely different chipset and operating system, so he'd be starting from the ground up.
