Nendra Primasta yeah it’s too much money. I got hooked and purchased 2 zeniths and a black bay, approx 13k in total but I got for approx 6k. I like them but now I want a Rolex and an AP but I can’t really afford it so basically I’m left disappointed. I may sell up and use my iPhone instead.

When some models are sold with obscene and unjustified premiums and with a High starting retail price, it’s time to look elsewhere for brands that are as good if not better, and certainly more reasonably priced.

Hey , mine looks the same , however it's more accurate , it came with a Seiko VK64 for the amazing prize of $87,-(US). To bad I have to replace the battery every 4 years at a cost of $4,- I'd be tempted to buy the original just because of the $4,- savings. Ohh , never mind , getting this contraption serviced every 5 years will set me back a marginal EU 750,- I'll stick with the battery operated rep for 1/10 of 1% of the cost of the original with none of the maintenance issues. I'd say I made the smart investment without the speculative aspect. Watches are a waste of time.

It was also one of the most expensive watches at it's time and the rich started buying them to show of their wealth. This is why the RO is popular Common folk will want what the rich and powerful have , even if they deny it .

not every car, but sure some will and some already did. Values of Oldtimers has been going through the roof since about 6-9 years. Back then you couldve easily picked up a nice ferrari 308 for about 35k Euros and now youre looking at about 70k. Its even more silly with old porsches

Very fun to see these Un-obtain-ium watches. The best part is at $84k and up I don’t ever have to stop myself from shopping them. Now a $5k watch is big trouble! 😉

The Royal Oak is the only thing AP has to rely on in order to survive. God knows how many variations are yet to come in the future. The Royal Oak should become its own company just like Grand Seiko have recently done. Great Vid BTW.

I’ve always loved the Royal Oak Offshore even though I can’t afford one! It’s the watch with heritage and style that says “ Rolex is for the commoner!” The Gerald Genta case is so iconic it oozes strength

And as we have all seen a new Code 11.59 collection just a few days ago I am sure we can appreciate this timeless Gerald Genta design even more ! Great video as always! Excellent videos and a new sub here. Could you please review the "Ball Pulsemeter Chronometer" (Trainmaster, black face) - As a Doc, its a watch I find interesting. Another video idea is a comparison of different pulsation dialled watches - I note only a few run at my preference of a 15 beat count, or 10 beat count. A 30 count is pretty useless for us as at that point you may as well work it out yourself... Such a video would me MUCH appreciated! Thanks for the high quality work on this channel

Ugly... be honest with yourself... If the cost of this watch was $200 at Macy's you would think it was horrendous and ugly. It looks like an Armani fashion watch from 1993. Because it costs an absurd amount of money you think it is cool. Look, I love watches and have a couple of nice Swiss pieces but this would be low on the list even if I had huge stacks of money. Yikes...

Royal oak is most fragile watch in the world, its a garbage mine stoped from vibrations on shooting range from glock..... My rolex didnt stop even after faling from motorcicle nither shooting nor other vibration, also omega didnt stop, watchmaker said to me that ap royal oak are worst watches and are only to put on arm and sit in ofice, then why to buy them if you cant wear them, shit...

Amazing video as always. I actually like the Messi version the most out of all the ones displayed. The chronograph tourbillion seems unbalanced, like the subdials are too close together. The Royal oak was giving you less yet charging more for no practical reason other than bragging rights you can afford one. Extreme versions of sports cars that give less features and charge more for it at least have justification in weight reduction. The RO had no justification at all, and I would still buy one 😄

Nice video, and nice watch. But I am still scratching my head as to why this watch is so sought after? AFAIK, the movement is non-In-House (JLC movement ?), and as far as a sports watch goes, it's not seemingly built to be durable. And for such an expensive watch, the bezel screws are all fake screws. - just there for decoration.

Small correction. AP made 1,000 Leo Messi Royal Oaks overall: 500 in steel, 400 in rose gold and 100 in platinum. All with the tantalum bezel.

They trash rolex to sell watches they got in shop. Rolex is great tugh resistant and luxurious. Ap, patek, lange are ofice watches like supermodel nice to watch but no soul and no great use... I got both of them, my ap broke from shoting. Not one rolex broke.

Not just the material names... Their entire terminology is just insufferable and how they insist on slapping it on every watch face like a paragraph of text just ruins their dials...
