I've tested so many Phones. From HEDDphones, to Focal Clear Pro MG, to LCD-X, to LCD XC, Neumann NDH 30, Beyerdynamics DT1990 Pro etc. At the End I was going with the MM-500. For me they are not very enjoyable for just listening to Music but they are damn good for Mixing, Mastering and especially for Editing and also Producing Music with them. Sometimes I use Waves NX Plugin with them and it was never more realistic with other Headphones before! it really sounds like you are sitting in a good Room in front of excellent Speakers! They translate well! If you're looking for a Tool that you can trust, just try them out

I have the heddphone. Looks like I have to get MM 5000 as I produce music. So after I listen to the Hifiman He1000se I will decide either 1000se or mm500. I thinking the He1000se is more revealing errors than any ?

Between the two, it sounds like the MM-500 is the way to go if you want midrange translation. You want to hear that harsh detail that was in AC/DC. They didn’t have more surgical equalizers and other studio tools at that time, and a lot of older records have harshness in them. I personally prefer analytical sound signatures, so I’d probably take the Audeze. I can still enjoy tracks even if I can tell their recordings aren’t great. :)

Looks like have to get the MM 500. I have the heddphone currently and love it clarity and soundstage, but its NOT analytical enough as I am music producer. So I will either buy MM 500 or Hifiman He 1000se after I listen to the 1000se.

I agree I am producer , I like analytical, tight, aggressive, punchy headphone and I sold my heddphone and switch to Mm 500. The heddphone is too boxy, smooth , and warm for me

@@anatol1204 I am satisfied now that I sold all my headphones including mm 5000. I bought a Stax electrostatic headphone, which no headphone competes with it. I also bought Focal clear mg pro. Headphone companies are scams and do nothing but gimmicky marketing. The Wild goose chase is over

As a mixer/producer i met Freddy at NAMM i tend to lean more towards HEDD there is a bit more mids top end which it might like mixing with eq set to those range i am still a/b ing them

Use a correctly wired xlr cable for the hedds, it’ll solve most of the looseness u mentioned

Hello, I just want to use one earphone and don't want to be tired of switching devices all the time depending on the type of music. I listen to 80% classical and 20% jazz and pop. I I think I like mm500 very much, and I think the instrument part is quite good, and the vocals are in the front, so the female voice sounds good. Do you recommend other headphones at this level? I think the Sound Stage of the mm500 is ok. For classical music, the instrument is not too modified and artificial, the low-frequency dive is enough for jazz. I'm still looking for a sound I like, maybe you can give me some advice or other information.

Never owned mm500. Hedd in my opinion doesn't have big sound stage but is frequency balanced and unhyped. I recently bought a sony mdr z1r, omg that one sounds so good and huge soundstage in a natural way, but not good for mixing!

Regardless of populus models released by Audeze, having hearing most, including, lcd3, LCD mx4, LCD 4, LCD 5, LCD x, the only good one I can conclude is lcd3. Heddphone on the other hand is on the susvara level while no Audeze product is . even passing susvara in many ways. Heddphone is has more dynamics, lawyering, separation, easier to drive, susvara is brighter, more glamorous, more comfortable.

Any experience with the Dan Clark Ether C/ Cx? I have the Ether Cx currently and it reveals details like a mixing headphone easily, I cant find Eq profiles though. So is the Ether Cx or MM 500 better for revealing/mixing/mastering with that being said?

@@FierceLeo. haven't heard mm500 nor ether cx. But based my tests with ether 2, LCD 345 mx4, I wouldn't go for any ether products simply because LCD is just generally superior. Hedd is a beast that you wouldn't go wrong.
