In this compilation video, I combined all of my best Audi A4 B7 Restoration clips into one long video.
So stay tuned to watch my progress on my 2007 Audi Audi A4 B7
First I start off going over the car. I never saw the car in person, I purchased it online by trusting the pictures. Which is what you should never do for a vehicle like this, always go and inspect the car in person. pictures can hide a lot.
We first started by tearing the whole front end down. After assessing the damage, we ordered the parts. Most of the part were OEM used. Estimate for the parts was roughly around $11,000cad, but buying a nose cut front end was $2,000cad. Comes with all of the little pieces and bolts and all parts are OEM. As for the torn timing belt and cracked timing belt cover, I just purchase those brand new with all of the pulley, water pump, thermostat, and the accessory belt. Since it was already easy access, I just decided to replace everything in the engine. After the engine was repaired, we started assembling the car and test fitting all of the body parts. When everything was aligned, we began to tear down again and started repairing the body to get it ready for prep and paint.
Since Jose painted the car in an open shop and not inside of a heat controlled sealed paint booth free from debris and dust, I decided to polish the whole car to make sure the paint was smooth. After completing the exterior, I decided to have the car tuned. I ended up getting 228hp/289ft tq at the wheels. I believe the numbers at the crank were around 280hp and 340ft tq. Shortly after that, a friend was parting out his written off Audi B8.5 S4 and I decided to buy his seats and install them in my B7. They required a bit of wiring but they work perfectly. I did end up painting the wheels black, but that didn't make it in the videos. You can find some videos of the black wheels in my Shorts videos.
The main reason for this car build, was because it was intended to be used as a daily driver and driven in winter time. Because of where I live, we get a lot of snow, and I needed something tough in the snow and winter.

Personally I would get rid of that horrific crackle tune, but other than that its a pretty sweet rebuild. Nice job man.

Great video. Restored mine last yr. Did you do the cam timing chain? Definitely a good idea. Have you got a link to the rear spoiler?

The timing chain was done just before it was crashed, along with the timing belt. I just did it again because it was torn a bit from the accident. Spoiler is from spoiler King
