In this long and detailed video you will see how to remove and replace the headlight lens of Audi A4 S4 B7 (2004-2008). Although initially not intended, given the very poor condition of the daytime running light and side light sockets, the weakest point of these headlights in general, I also replaced them. The extremely poor condition of the wiring also addressed and cured with most simple repair that you can do at home. This repair is also relevant to other makes and models' headlights like Audi A6, A8, Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 and many others with peeled wiring. Intentionally not used soldering or any other tool that in general is not found at households.

The lens was never touched by you, was it? The lens is the glass object that covers your D1S Xenon Bulb, my friend. Do you have part numbers for the replacement sockets?

hi friend .. i dont agree with a donor headlight 1- a donor headlight is expensive 2- a donor headlight with a good condition lens is hard to find ..and if you do find ..its really expensive 3- an original lens last longer then an aftermarket one...that would be true if they both were new .... if you compare an aftermarket new lens... with an oem lens with 8....10...12 ...15 years of weathering ...they wil probably last the same time

Hi mate! You are missing a point. Donor headlights for lenses are very cheap, given the fact that halogen type headlights are extremely cheap for this model. Moreover, most of the aftermarket lenses are with only 6 months warranty. They have inferior coating and very quickly get yellow.
