I have a Audi A6 2010 model and the button for the driver window was broken when I bought it. I was using the key fob to open and close the driver side window by holding either down or up, however now the fob has stopped working and I can't put the driver side window up anymore. Do you have any ideas or tips on what the problem could be with this situation please.
Water got in the buttons and the console is fried you just have to buy a new console with the buttons and change it and it will work because is not a fault with the motor cuz it went up and down from the fob
The rear wiper is turned on by pushing the wiper stalk (right of steering wheel) forward. If i remember correctly :D. If pushed all the way then it sprayed washer fluid. If you have never used rear wiper then it might be stuck... (wiper shaft is rusted) :)
I believe its broken wire inside the rubber boot going to the door from the body so inspect the wiring. Maybe wiggle the wiring harness and see if something changes firstly
Theres that groove where window runs up and down. Spray some silicon spray there. Too much friction and (safety device!?!💁♂️) detects an obstacle in the way and reverses the window direction. It will either roll the window completely down, or roll down a few inches and stop.😉
