Good sum up and comparison at the end there - all good cars, but all too expensive. You asked which aspect of the criteria you listed is the most important? In brief, I think I should have to say maximum comfort and soft suspension now - as the road surfaces are so incredibly poor, and speed limits and clogged roads means we drive about at 20 mph everywhere! BMW is the best, in addition, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are in my opinion the only true authentic premium brands ... An Audi is a somewhat more luxurious Volkswagen and Volvo is a traditionally solid (but in reality very low scores on reliability) Swedish family car, who pretends to be premium.

Audi interior, light design is killing but I hate two touch screens. BMW does it best when it comes to ease of use. Some functions are best kept as physical buttons.

Volvo has been killing it lately. I saw one on the road the other day and I was awestruck. Audis are getting old, Bmw is getting designed by comitee, brutalism on wheels. whoever is designing Volvos cars are doing a tremendous job

Yes they could. They are restrained, but will date better. The Merc is too flamboyant, and the Audi can look out of date in 2-3 years.

@@Sandouras I drive the previous gen A6. I've sat in new A6 vs 5 vs E class. E class is flash but cheap in places. A6 is new for the sake of it, but when the novelty wears off you're left with multiple touchscreens which are borderline dangerous in a car on the move, and just doesn't work well. 5 series interior is conservative but the highest material quality. Wouldn't know about the 8 series - out of my league.

When Peugeot used touch screen in the new 308 for pretty much all controls including climate control, EVERYBODY was talking bull💩 about it and how such a bad idea it is and blah blah blah...i test drive the 308gti for 2 full days and it was new but not a massive issue...now audi is doing exactly the same and it is even lower so you have to take your eyes off the road even longer but not a single bad review about it?? Makes me lough every time... ✌

1st place tie for Volvo - ( best looking of the 3 ) and Mercedes Benz, 2nd for Audi. 3rd for BMW ( but tops the Audi for space and versatility - I'd still go for the Audi ). Good comparo review Thomas.

Actually the comments about the length of this show. Do they realize this is a full presentation of four vehicles. So it’s rather quick per vehicle. And yes you could make a quicker version of this show too. Just 3-5mins per vehicle overview. To calm them down. For me I stop start as it suits my timing. And I enjoy every minute of it all. Thomas your are quite the story teller and I am sucked in 🌹🙏👍😉

We have ordered our 2023 Audi A6 Allroad Prestige, that should be arriving within the month (after a very long wait!). We think, by far, it has the best exterior design, and we also really love the interior. We’re excited to see what it’s like to live with! We’re trading in our 2019 Audi Q7 Prestige, so we feel it’ll be very familiar, with a much better driving dynamic (car vs. SUV). And, that’s saying a LOT, considering the Q7 was an exceptional driver!

Audi used to be my favorite luxury car maker. But I don’t like the direction they have taken. I don’t like the sea of screens in the dashboard. And I hate the fake air vents that they and Mercedes add to their front bumpers.

Wow, I didn't believe I could watch so long a video, but I made it :-) the calm and smooth voice of Thomas almost made me sleepy, but in 2 days I made it through. One thing I always wonder why I never get it to the end with the back seats? Are they flat-folding or not? In my MB 2008 T, they fall perfectly flat and I can take a nap and even spend some nights, enjoying nature and the sound of the rain, falling on the roof. And that's it. I do not know if anyone makes those seats anymore>I see they fall down but have some angle. Am I right and if so, do you know who makes these cars today? From the SUVs, I think MB GL/S, LR Discovery, Audi Q7 but I am curious about station wagons.. Otherwise-thanks for the video =I pretty much ❤️ it 🥳

Interesting aspect with the seats, I know that the Ioniq 5 has an extra function for that. And I find it very interesting, I try to include that kind of thing in the next review

But it was many years ago. Maybe they've changed their minds. Tesla ile EQC’yi kıyaslamak bence hatalı. Tesla teknolojisi her ne kadar iyi olsa da kullanılan materyaller tam bir çöp. Amerikan arabaları zaten genelde böyle olur Cadillac hariç. Teslanın izolasyonu da berbat ama menzili etkileyici. EQC’de konfor ve malzeme kalitesi tartışılmaz anca menzil konusunda sınıfta kalır. Rakipleri çok daha iyi menziller sunuyor.

I watch a few videos of the 2017 Volvo s90/v90 t6 inscription the test drivers never mention that the CD player is in the front console I just bought my S90T6 inscription with the bowers and Wilkins 19 speakers 1400 watts sound system with the CD player in the console. Beautiful Volvo CD system is in the front seat console not all inscription has one I have one in my S90 T6 inscription

I am a father of 2 kids. I need to choose a German car. E-Class has air suspension in this test. If we consider non air suspansion versions for all three, which one is more confortable in terms of suspension and noise isolation. BMW 5 series Touring, E-Cass Estate or Auidu A6 Avant ?

2:47:15 almost had an accident, see side view mirror. Volvo failed on Blind spot warning, in fact was late to warn to be correct.

Had youtube on autoplay and stumbled upon this video. Great review but my gawd... these type of cars are so unbelievably boring. I get that they're luxury but there is nothing about these cars that appeal to me other than the "status" symbols that they are. I'll take a manual v8 with at least 400 hp for half the price.

Volvos lost their magic. They had the tighest turning circle. They would fair off better with four wheel steering.Their big screen is a complicated mess. Doesn't look intuitive at all. It has a round about administrative controls to configure the basics. Just horrendously inefficient. Volvos are no longer a driver's car. Expect no engine. They never optimized their Yamaha engine for fuel efficiency nor developed different cylinder variants. Dangerous steering wheel for high speed. It has an unattractive looking steering wheel. Only the looks and the seats seems to be unique and makes a forward statement that sets it apart from the competition. Like Mercedes, their turns to lock steering wheel are outdated and is more bus-like than what a premium estates deserves... Oh, let me not forget their stereo isn't bad. Overall a boring mess.

The BMW can be found the cheapest, the 530e is crazy cheap compared to the other phev variants of above mentioned cars. Talking young low mileage second hand offers. No brainer for me!
