The entire carrier, including the headlights, condenser, radiator, and electric fans, is designed to come forward or out as a unit. Four torx fasteners at the fenders, and then remove the bumper supports. Put the long vertical bolts from the bumper into the frame where the bumper support comes off, and you can slide the whole assembly forward on those bolts. There is enough room to do things like AC compressor without removing the coolant, for example.
