Suggestions: APR ECU stage 1 tune (this keeps the power level somewhat sane), AWE touring exhaust with resonated down pipes (this product truly has zero droning). Obviously so much more, down pipes, etc. But the two items I mention will unlock so much. Heads up on common item for these engines. Turbo oil screen down in the valley can get restricted leading to failed turbos. Reach out to JHM motorsports for their solution. Lastly, have fun. Oh, black out the chrome window trim, and Audi rings on rear deck lid.
I love this S6! I'm really digging it. Bigger than the A4 and most other compact luxury cars, and it packs V8 power! Nice car! Huge step up from my old '94 Benz C280 I had, years back.
Looks 🔥 I was all in for the 2020 s6 it was my time..but I couldn’t move past that v8. Last motor I hook up before I go electric lol. 2018 s6 34k I just bought 😍
Hey man sweet car! I have a 2017 in the blue and mine is stock right now probably going to do the stage 1 soon. Not that you or anyone cares but I feel like when it comes to these cars you shouldn’t get too carried away with the modifications. Personally I like to kind of steer clear of the Dodge and camaro culture as much as I can I love the fact that my car move quickly while not making too much noise. If I have a nice looking lady in my car I can slam the accelerator and we can still have a conversation.
Where did u get that bts screen in the car. Thats sweet as heck. I've never seen that. I'm about to buy a 16 s6 with stage 3,racing brakes, apr exhaust and downpipe, and Awe intake. I would like to get something like that. You have a beautiful car and keep up the sweet mods
Nice vid! I’m gonna be getting my dad’s 2013 A6 in about a month or so I’m considering some mods. At least more visual for now. I like the Maxton stuff you got!
And the mirrors gloss black or body color matched! Sick spec, makes you wonder why the person who built it didn't tick black optics. Ticked everything else!
Nice build man! I also have a 15' s6, currently tuned with uni stage 2 ecu and tcu, got this tune before ds1 came out unfortunately lol heard so many good things about ds1. Plan on switching once i upgrade the tubros
What does stage 2 consist of for Uni? Downpipes? Yeah once you upgrade turbos DS1 is the way to go!! So glad I went that route. Has been nothing but awesome for me!
@@657Racing Yessir, downpipes and that’s it. They recommend intakes. I plan on doing that this summer w/ SRM. Good to hear! Glad your enjoying your car! Are you upgrading with OEM rs7 turbos or srm +4? Just curious, a lot of people on insta/forums have went with +4mm and some with ts1.
Nice ride beautiful upgrade! Hey bro I just purchased same grill but I have my parking sensors beeping with no object on the front of vehicle so… did you cut the aftermarket grill to fit your sensors ?
The amount of moisture coming out of your exhaust at the end is that normal for yours? I know condensation build up but damn that was alot more than I've even seen come out of mine.
Have not had any oil screen issue as of yet. I am changing oil very regularly about 3-4K mile intervals and running RS7 turbos now. There is also a recall being issued for that turbo screen issue and rumor is that Audi is supposed to replace the screen free of charge so we will see!
Really nice setup! How tough was the SRM intake install? Thinking of picking one up and just jumping do DS1 Stage 2. Or do you think starting at Stage 1 with no intake is worth it?
I really didn’t feel a difference going stage 1 to stage 2. I would highly suggest going E85 tho! That’s where I felt a difference! Install on the SRMs was super easy not hard at all.
@@657Racing that's kind of what I gathered for these cars - biggest gains are Stage 1 (tune only) and ethanol. DS1 is pretty good about sensing/adjusting for ethanol of you have a sensor involved, right? And you can also "manually" input your ethanol percentage and do it that way? How has your car reacted to different blends of gasoline octane and ethanol percentages? I live in 91 octane country and higher ethanol content is hard to get to on a daily basis (but it is around) so I'd definitely be blending 91 and various ethanol blends and not running "strictly" a high-E fuel.
Yep had a Dual Pulley B8 S4 on E40. That car was a blast especially on E or 100 octane tune. Compared to this it felt way more “sporty” in a sense of how much smaller it was. That being said the interior and comfort of the air suspension on the S6 is where it is at for me. Power wise I think S6 takes the cake in the long run and mod wise. I will have to see if the guy who bought my S4 is down for a run with the S6 maybe in the future will get a video of that 👌🏽
Absolutely no issue with BTRES. By far my favorite mod. It is cool to see what ethanol content you have real time on the screen. DS2 is the logging software for Dyno Spectrum. Allowing for more detailed logging info and parameters
@@657Racing appreciate the feed back bro. Looking forward to my own BTRES set up here soon! DS2 work through BTRES also or is that used through a laptop and or phone app?
The night vision camera that my car came with fit perfect on this grill. However the front parking camera the housing that came on the grill had to be removed in order to fit as it is not angled right. Not a big deal just trim it out and the camera fits fine without that housing.
@@657Racing nice! Good looking car. I have 2015 s6 stock. My turbos failed twice due to faulty oil filter. Fixed under warranty. You should have that replaced or removed.
@@truejayoh LOL that’s a bummer! Knock on wood these turbos have lasted 87K with no problems but yes oil screen delete is on the list to do for sure! Already have RS7 turbos in my garage ready to go when I have time to tackle that project! 👌🏽
@@657Racing with any luck I will be owning my very own 2014 Audi S6 Prestige this friday.... can't wait.... let me know if u get any connections on the tail lights
@@657Racing Hi, Nice ride. Why don't you pick up a set of used original Facelift tail lights? I have made the conversion from pre-face lift to facelift. Have done so with the tail lights (which is the easiest thing to do)these are dynamic. If you buy the right part number. And also have done the rear bumper, front bumper, and the FL full led headlights.
@@Audi-Rebuilder I’ve seen a set of tail lights that are plug and play LED with sequential turns for I think like $400 which isn’t too bad. Not sure how much it would be to go your route. For the exhaust it is an X-Pipe in place of big suitcase and just chopped the rear mufflers off and threw on some 3.5” tips.
Looks so good. That grill is on the list for my 2017. Mine is currently DS1 stage 1 but my SRM long-tubes arrive tomorrow. Was the jump from stage 1 to 2 noticeable? How do you like the Boosted Euro TCU tune? That’s also on my list. Your car looks great!
Hmmm honestly not much of a jump going stage 1 to stage 2. I felt more of a difference going with a SRM fuel line kit. These cars love E!! BE TCU tune felt good too there is still power all the way to the 7K redline!!
@@657Racing I’m at stage 2 with now with SRM intakes and BE TCU tune. It’s great and I really like it but want to try E85 now. How difficult (and necessary) were the SRM flex fuel kit and fuel lines? I’ve heard of other tunes not requiring hardware changes to run E.
@@jad4ca yeah I heard with Integrated Engineering that you don’t have to upgrade to bigger HPFP lines in order to run it. I’ve seen that line and it is really small going to the driver side fuel pump. 100% recommended getting the fuel lines and sensor from SRM super easy install and if you have the BTRES screen it will display your % right there on the screen and adjust the tune based off of that. I feel like there is a bigger jump in power running E85 👍🏽
I broke this maxton front splitter and ended up going with an eBay lip. Funny enough a lip off a newer Honda accord fits very good on the C7s. Diffuser I ended up going the more expensive route with a Deval carbon fiber diffuser
100% you can! All you need is a DS1 tune, upgraded fuel lines and sensor. DS1 software changes the parameters of the tune based on how much E content you have in the tank. Now if you wanted to upgrade turbos then you would need to upgrade the fuel pumps
