12:52 regenerative braking isn't disabled, its just controlled using the brake pedal, the one-pedal braking is what's disabled and can be adjusted using the paddles (though never strong enough to come to a complete stop on its own). But you get regen every time you use the brake pedal (With the exception of hard or sudden stops).
Very useful review, thank you. I’ve got one coming this week, hopefully, and you’ve answered a lot of my questions - found the dealership to be quite clueless about a lot of the tech!
@@TotallyEV went for the regular e-tron 50 (navarra blue 😍). I couldn’t justify the cost of the 55 tbh, the extra mileage and minor speed bump weren’t worth an extra £200pm and the 50 will absolutely suit my needs 99% of the time
Great review! I bought one in navarra blue. Having a small child that gets car sick quickly, the e-tron is our hope to be able to do longer weekend tours again. We have tested all of the big EVs on the market and this was the most comfy by far. The range is good enough, specially combined to the best charging curve and speed.
Glad you liked the review! Oh indeed, the e-tron is by far one of the comfiest vehicles on the market, be it EV or not. When do you take delivery of the beast?
@@TotallyEV she was with us during the test drive. With the Tesla 3 (we considered getting one while waiting for the Tesla Y), she got sick on the 2 km between the kindergarten and home. With e-tron we just drove and drove (about 17 km), while she sang from her child seat. So it's very promising!
Thanks for the review. I’m thrilled to be getting the first 2022 Chronos etron to arrive in Hawaii. I share your views presented after my test drive, albeit we already have an X and don’t need significant range here.
@@TotallyEV yes.....the mrs has one as well. We lucked out on special pricing which enabled us to afford two vehicles. The only way I’m ever going back to a gas vehicle is if the wife lets me buy a 911
I bought a fully specd etron advanced s line, 2021 model, sunroof, bang olufsen, with new tires, driven 86000 km. Cost me around 36000 pounds. A good deal?
In other words, the reviewer is saying 'stay away from this car'. There is a clue when he spends 80% of the review talking about interior road noise. Are you listening, Audi?
@@TotallyEVmy preference was the Mercedes EQC but i wasnt going to 8 months for that so I selected a vehicle which was already preordered. I dont know much about cars so heavily rely on videos like yours. Can't wait to try the 3 point turn on Wimbledon Common!
