I just got my e tron edition one and I freaking love it!! I watched so many videos bashing e trons and tried it anyway. I’m so glad I gave it a chance. I’ve been presently surprised. The child locks are fantastic. I’m a mom of three little ones and it’s perfect. I had a Honda oddessy and my kids would flip the switch for child safety door and turn it off. Also love the quick acceleration. I don’t need Tesla speed with 3 kids ,7 and under. I also love the soft close door feature! When my two year old Sallys the door closed it closes itself the rest of the way! So perfect. It’s just a comfortable, confident, and stylish ride. Nice video.

Picking up mine tomorrow and I am immensely pleased to hear about no phantom braking. Our other car is a Model 3 and we love it for many things but we do have phantom braking incidents way more than we'd like and they're really disconcerting.

I love your videos and Audi-etron. We have had the car for little bit more then tree month now and we have driven over 10 000 miles. Btw I live in Norway in the mountains and the car have good range here to.

You're right the charging port covers are really cool.

Those 2 child lock buttons screwed me and my wife up first day lol she locked herself in the car and she had to call me to let her out. 30 mins later we found the switches lol

I just bought etron enjoying all road setting on it .. living in london with bumps and potholes everywhere it seems to be the most comfortable drive

Yeah E-Tron Prestige level is top notched. Love the massaging seats (And did I mention it has massaging options on BOTH front seats?). And the MMI and torque is amazing in Dynamic mode.

So glad I came across your channel. I am about to take the leap into electric with my new Audi e-tron Prestige this week. I finally decided it was time. I'm trading my beloved mercedes gl550 for it. I've got so many reservations yet so excited. I chose the e-tron for the exact reason you mentioned, after driving Mercedes and BMW for many years I wanted an electric car that didn't look or feel electric. I think this car is the only one that has the old school german automotive craftsmanship blended with the latest in EV technology. I take delivery this week and I can't wait to get behind the wheel. Im getting my e-tron today and getting rid of my 2019 range rover vogue im looking forward to changing over to an ev its my first one. We had a demo for the weekend the car was great and really well put together.

@Julia Chinchelli called it out, but I wanted to state it again - using GPS "invites" you to choose a route automatically including high speed charging by finding it for you. That is *so* convenient. Good job Audi! I own a 2019 black / black (will probably black optic the grille myself)

child locks on this were on my 2008 vw touran and it should be on every family car.

Steve, your videos on e-tron are gr8. I hv ordered mine few days back 🤞. Did you get your alloy wheels factory fitted or got them retro fitted? Also did you opt not to have the roof rails? many e-tron owners thought they come standard, only to realise that it needs to be added as an accessory.

I have A3 Etron... Not bad hybrid . Wish EV range was 50 miles.

Finally a video about the BEST things in an E-tron! This is by far my favorite audi car of all time and I’ve owned 5 different models over 15 years! I’m not sure if other ev cars do this but I really appreciate when I’m using the gps and the destination is further out than my range it sets the route to follow specific roads with charges and also tells me exactly how much time and how much charge I will get at different locations! Also in the US, audi has partnered with electrify america and is giving 10 full fast charges free! Being my first ev car I’m absolutely ecstatic and obsessed with my new car, got the galaxy blue metallic color and people turn their heads when I pass by 🤣🤣

Because of that Audi are sourcing the technique from suppliers that are experts in their respective ”field” thats why the ACC and so on are so great. Instead of the vertical integration model that Tesla has shoosen. Hence the Phantom Braking 😉

My vehicle stops and shuts down, went on the road and should not. What do you think is causing it?

Do you find the range to be that of an issue let say at highway speed?

My 2016 Seat Alhambra has the same child locks

I don't mean to upset you but my 2009 bmw has the child lock feature plus window lock as well. How's your paint work on your Audi? Like an orange peel effect?

I will most likely sign a two year lease for a 55. I received a competitive offer and I will save plenty on vehicle tax and diesel which are both very expensive in my country. Will stay well clear of the electric mirrors though!

Toureg 2008 have that child lock feature! Parking lines thing is just over the top what's wrong with simple motion bleep things

I bet you can make lemonade out of lemons. I salute you sir. you own a VW, we all know what they did. A Tesla, I hope nobody bumps into you, good luck with getting that fixed and don't upset Tesla, or they will use the internet and stop it from working. An Audi etron............. as you'll soon find out, enough said. Good luck!!

Just bought a 2019 3 weeks ago and I love it. On a full charge I get around 240 miles if I dont burn the air conditioner and if I DO, it's about 215. I have gone to the fast charger twice to top it off and it charges fast. I am waiting on the electrician to put in a new line so I can install a 50amp breaker and the 240 plug. I test drove a Tesla and I didn't like the cheapness of the the LOOK of the car. I wanted a regular luxury car that just happens to be electric and all of those people who are talking about how Tesla goes from 0 to 60 in 2.6 seconds need to go sit down. I'm sure its mostly testosterone filled males who plan on getting off to gunning it every time they leave the red light but that will eat your battery up. The Etron's takeoff is way better than a gas car but not as quick as a Tesla. I love my first EV and would never go back to gas. If I need to take a trip further than300 miles, i'll just rent a gas car. I never take road trips.

If people need this to park their car, then they are not very good drivers, this bit of software only makes sense for learner drivers in my view.

People would have that car for over a year those are the people you got to talk to you’re the ones who have the problems with those mirrors because Audi doesn’t know much about the technology not a good sign
