If your early to mid 200's audi or vw is gabbing problems with either side door electrical locks windows or anything electrical start by looking here. Very common on these cars
@@toryblandford7082 It's been a while but I think I focused on the tabs that you can see visible in the video. I probably used a screw driver to pry them/push them in on one side. It was a pretty frustrating process :) Good luck.
Nice one popped tad rubber boot off not expecting it to be wire but sure enough there it was very fidly but job done now saved thank the lord 4 you tube👍
The controls on the door stopped working suddenly. I was at a gas station to fill up, tank was almost empty, and all the switches on the door were dead. I didn't know how to open manually so I drove home with the fumes. The video showed exactly the problem. Thanks
I can’t believe there isn’t a recall for this. I checked my wires and sure enough two were broken and the others looked like a rat chewed through them. Wtf audi/vw? WTF?! Also had to change ignition switch, which fried all the door locks cuz they were going on and off every second. Why do I keep buying these cars? WHY??? It’s ok, I still love you audi, you f’n pos.
this works on my 2002 a6 but mine is different the wires go deep inside the car into who knows where but by tugging a bit on the wires it makes my car work for a while im not sure how ill get inside to fix it though
Thanks, I just got an a4 and the left rear door was not working except for the speaker. No power locks no window. Turns out the plug was not fully inserted.
I really hope this will help me ..i have tryed much things but not this one it still show on computer doors are open and everything else is working normaly 😔😔
I have problem that my rear door and rear windows and boot dont lock/unlock on central, not when i put the key in car or with button. They Just dont work. Wires seem fine as far as i could check
How were you able to open the door if it didn't unlock? I have the same problem on my Audi. Thankfully it is on the front passenger door, but I'm unsure how to fix it as I can't open the door at all.
I have the same issue, I lock the car the 'old fashion' way..i.e by turning the key.. sometimes the door behind the driver side won't close if opened from the inside.
This is just another problem on my a4, nothing but trouble with Audi's easily the most unreliable car I've ever had. Worst make of German cars on the market, stay well away from them.
