Thanks for the video. Crazy that you have to buy the Ross Tech s/w and USD/OBDII interface cable to reset the inspection due light. I have a standard OBDII scan tool which allows you to reset codes, but not sure it will work to reset the inspection due light?

Yeah sux Its so much easier on other cars where there is some type of option in the computer to do it.

I like to change my oil more frequently than what Adi asks for so i like to run a little thicker oil in the summer and a lighter oil in the winter.

He doesn’t say how many quarts the engine takes. He just says fill it to the full line without overfilling.

yes you can, the different weights apply to the temperatures the oil will be run in.

im not sure where we got them from they are super old metal ones. I have a set of the composite ones but they slide when you try and drive up them.

This is ok but you did not point out a few important things. 1. Why Audi uses a pump and draws the oil out through the dip-stick hole instead of draining the oil via the drain plug. 2. What the crush washer is for and why you need it. Also why you used a new drain plug instead of just reinserting the old one.

I get the oil from BJ's wholesale and that about 29$ for a case 6qts and the filter is like 12$ usd.

Thanks for the comment! No have not found a way to do it with out a scan tool or computer. I have the rosstech software on my laptop so I used that to rest it.

I normally use ECS tuning to get a lot of my parts and i'm using Mobil 1 full sync oil and Mann oil filters

That is most certainly NOT a fram oil filter. It's a MANN.

Sorry dude. Thumbs down on this video. You did not show you checking the dip stick and the markings etc. I know it may seem obvious but that's all part of changing and checking the oil!
