I picked up mine a few months ago. Love it so far. The package deal is what sold me, going from our trusty A3 E-tron which served us really well but was getting too small. Really excited to run ours for the next few years. It's definitely turning heads in bright white color, which wasn't my first choice but as it was a demo-car we can't complain :D Ours is the Q4 50, and we've already had a great use of the quattro system going to the winter cabin during the spring melts and the roads were a mess. It just plowed through, and I felt always in control and wasn't fatigued after a fairly lengthy 4hr drive getting to the cabin. Standard seats definitely more comfy for long drives.

Thanks for an informative video. We are looking at the Q4 e-Tron for our next lease. You didn’t mention anything about iPhone charging (where is it) and the seats look like they have thigh support seat extension. I’m tall and I prefer that. Can you explain?

The phone charger is in the front console, wireless and wired options. Yes the extended support is great as well. I've had the Q4 for a week and love it!

I’ve had my Q4 since Nov 2021 and it’s been fantastic. I went for a rwd 40 S-Line as I didn’t need the extra performance of the 50. The monthly cost was within £10 of a mechanically equivalent ID4 and Enyaq, and I preferred the HVAC and infotainment systems in the Audi. I think the cheaper Q4s are the sweet spot in the range. A Q4 50 is very close to Tesla Model Y money, and the performance/efficiency of the MY are much more impressive.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Having owned a model Y, they are not even in the same playing field with cars like the etron for ergonomics and materials. I've owned 5 EVs (including a cheap bolt) and the tesla was the cheapest feeling and most annoying to drive with their lack of ergonomic consideration.

problem of the 40 is the 0-100 is only 8.5s and max speed 160km/h. the dc charging is only 135kw. in 2023 this is just very bad. everybody is doing way better for way less. the 45 is the bare minimum the price tag is out of this world. and still only 6s. 180km/h.

@@farodopi5170 8.5s is for 35 model. 8s is for the 40. Not particularly fast, but is adequate. The top speed is irrelevant, because at that speeds the battery drain on electric cars are abysmal.

I own a Q4 for 2 months and my only complaint about ergonomics is the gear selector. Is to tiny and odd to operate it, I always need to search for it when parking.

I think you made a mistake around 15:20 minutes, you imply 21 inch wheels are more comfortable than 20 inch. That is not true! Bigger wheels make the bumps in the road a lot more noticeable

is it only me or the front end with this cheap looking and enormous plastic grill is hideous? the textured motive is ugly this greyish color is ugly and it just gives an horrendous look. while i can understand his presence, why does it needs to be so ugly. why not just putting a body painted plate? like in mach-e, P2 etc. actually the rest of the exterior is also quite bad. just looks like an egg. but maybe it’s just me

That one is the most hideous of the whole car industry IMHO. all Tesla model are ugly. the old model looks indeed like a frog 🐸. and for the new restyle they managed to do even worse than before. pretty much the same design since 2008. completely outdated. but their ugliest is without any doubt the Y. man the Y. 😱 no in fact this Audi is not so bad compared to Tesla 😆

I own a Q4 e tron. I think the suspension is one of the weakest points... on some surfaces it's just not good or comfortable... i dont understand how you can say that... my Q4 has the normal suspension and has 20 inch wheels. I dont have the adaptive dampers tho...

@@KrisRifa the problem is that many people complain about the ride quality on some sort of kind of surfaces even with adaptive suspension... so there is not much difference in ride quality i think... i tested the s line with adaptive suspension and it was much stiffer in comparison to my Q4 with normal suspension...

@@swigga69 there will always be people complaining about anything. Unless you've done an actual study, I wouldn't pay to much attention to forums etc. I haven't driven a single car that rides perfect on all surfaces. What I am saying is that the suspension tuning of this Q4 E-Tron on adaptive dampers is better than anything at this price, and also better than more expensive cars on air suspension. I can't, nor I am I trying to change your experience of opinion. But remember, this is what I do for a living. I drive close to 100 000km per year for testing cars, and usually drive them on the same roads. And many times I drive multiple cars in a week, hoping from one to another.

@@KrisRifa thank you for the answer. Tho, air suspension is far superior in terms of comfort. For exaple the old e-tron or new Q8 e-tron gives you much more comfort than the Q4 does... it's undeniable...(i drive both) Maybe you like the stifness more. The Q4 is just not the most comfortable car in the world. I drive 40.000km every year and i drove a lot of cars but i really think the suspension could be better on some sort roads... in most cases it's good but certainly not superior to other electric cars imo... you are the first who is so enthousiastic about the suspension... and i saw/read a lot of Q4 videos/reviews... that's why i commented on your video. It's good most of the time but not superior in terms of comfort. The chassis is constantly in movement or how do i say it in english... :-) sometimes a little nervous whitch i don't like so much...

I tested one and agree. The suspension is generally very-very comfortable, but on some beaten surfaces is very unsettling and jumps around, not a very luxurious feeling. I experienced something similar with Kodiaq. The same day same road I tried Q8 etron and A6 diesel and they were not even giving a hint of that.
