Video title is wrong. The first generation Q7 (ended in 2015) has the battery located under the driver's seat. Title should be "2016 - Present", not 2010.
Don’t believe this guys bullshat I did everything he said and still ended up with a bunch of codes. What he doesn’t tell you is the computer in car has to be reset for a non Audi brand battery including serial number for new battery also have to have adaptive cruise control reset by dealer. You might as well just have dealer do job.
Thanks for the video, the battery looks like too small for such a big engine , can be replaced with a bigger amp like 105ah or it’s going to make any problem with the coding?
Thanks for watching. It does appear that a 105AH will fit into some model/year vehicles. I would check the tray size to confirm if a larger battery would fit.
Is there any way to check the power level of the current battery installed via the MMI software or some external device? Thank goodness, this process is less of a pain compared to 1st generation Q7, the driver’s seat had to be partially removed, come on Audi 😦
Hi - Thanks for watching! We suggest that you check with the vehicle owners manual or a service/repair manual to find out. You may also like to check out our video on battery registration. The link is in this video's description.
