Brad used to be part of Hoonigan part-time when they had the old shop. He was a full-time maintenance worker and electrician for a marijuana farm. He left Hoonigan because he didn’t have enough free time and they moved the shop too far from his house in Long Beach. Plus the guys were always giving him shit. He’s also a single father with kids. He has his own channel called something like BadDaddy Brad where he films in his driveway. Sadly he doesn’t upload anymore because he can’t find a good camera man or editor. Brad always brought a wild energy and enthusiasm to Hoonigan which the newer cast doesn’t bring. It seems like everyone is unmotivated and burnt out. Brad is always excited and full of energy. Cars and speed are truly his passion and you don’t need to watch long to realize that.
The current crew is also still dealing with the loss of Ken, before Ken's passing, the crew was a little more motivated and enthusiastic about what they do.
Even if this was just a joke episode, the precariousness of brad's car is always fun to watch, cant believe he's selling that death trap, it's part of his essence at this point 🤣
I love how Brad is so passionate and chaotic, but when it came to explaining his car, immediately gets calm and meticulous. The Audi guy sounded like he was reading out of a catalog.
@@alexcrousebroke people can be even more boring, the average car guy online is boring as hell, it depends on the person more so than the money obviously.
As crazy as Brads run was, I think he stayed more straight than the Audi. The fact that the audi was spinning all four tires at 100+ mph is pretty nuts.
That track was glass that day. Brad's car has proven to be way faster than it was that day. He was leaving like a Kia minivan because he had zero grip.
@@alexcrouse so? They were both on the same track, same conditions. You can tell it was just running like the bag of shit it actually is. Prepped track that r8 would've put buses on him.
Brad is the best guy is hilarious. Good contrast for the channel. You guys have great on screen chemistry and he really is a good addition to the channel. Id like to see him more.

@@perotekku I was surprised most of the comments didn't know who Brad is or what he was to Hoonigan. I guess the This v That series bought in a lot of new people. I mean good for Hoonigan.
No you don't 😂😂 He is funny for the banter talk but he was part of Hoonigan at some point and let's just say things didn't go particularly well. Only OG's will get it 😂
I think I prefer the interview style car info part. That guy did a great job of telling us about his R8 but I missed the memes and comedic relief of the hoonigan boys, and their silliness and funny questions.
I love it every time i see brad in a video, dude is absolutely an integral part of the hoonigan team. i wish they would put the time into figuring out how to include him in alot more content in the future. A whole braddy build series would be absolutely amazing.
You just can't beat the consistency of a built GTR/Huracan/R8. That AWD + DCT combo is just hard to beat 🤙🏼 and that's why they're always in the finals at TX2K..
Dude, he was going like 140 at the 500ft mark roughly on that last run. On the street...we're talking like sub 5 second eighth mile right? again, on the street
we don't have rat rods - we have the TÜV... but tbh: kudos for brad making this run happen - may he live long and prosper (or sth.that suits his favour)
Good to see march air base getting some use after all these years. I spent my entire life seeing nothing happen there, except a few air shows and a jet crashing into a warehouse a few years ago.
You guys expected to much of Brad. "I so appreciate, the fact that I got to race a half a million dollar car" is just a refined version of what you were expecting. Classic, too.
