That dude with the white viper is very upsetting😂😂 He raced the first race great buttt each race after that was👎🏽👎🏽 It seemed like he wasn't gettin any kind of boost at all off the start, buttt that red one with the hellcat redeye motor swap gooooood lorrdddd almighty😂😂 dude was getting squirly in every gear. That's insane!!!!!
Good I hate when you guys just pass the time for no reason, just get to the race, stop wasting time with irrelevant footage, do these after race, it's makes everyone just skip al the part to race, bad marketing, just saying cause cars are fun but there is a 15 minute delay to race, no one has the time mate
Well it's not like the Viper wasn't already to begin with 😂 honestly I think a V8 viper is cooler than the V10 which is probably blasphemy to say but oh well
Literally was made from the factory as a Final Destination movie clip. First gens didn't have any driver aids, no TC, no SC, etc. That's why it's so cheap to get motors from the first gens, cause the car it came out of doesn't exist in one piece anymore 😂
@z ack i mean that's a pretty vague comment.. a stock 1993 rt10 isn't the same as a 2017 ACR, and neither of those are the same as a built racecar.. under steer or "downforce problems" never stopped them from being competitive race cars, or stopped them from being fun street cars..
The true Op American car. Seriously such an awesome car. I wish it had been as attainable and as popular as the Corvette. But honestly if they had made more it just means that more would have been crashed lol. The 05 Ford gt would get my pick over any other American car. A c7 blue devil or z06 with a rowdy cam takes second place. A viper of any vintage would be the third car in my American dream garage. I would really just want one to send to Calvo in Texas and get that 2000 hp face slapping speed
Not that its underapprecited, just that there aren't many out there. Dealers were charging $1,000,000 and the like 20 people in America who have them keep them as investments. Not to mention performance per dollar, the Corvette is a better pick.
Throtl viper needs a complete suspension overhaul. The stance on it right now gives it very minimal traction on the front wheels to keep it straight. Once they do that thing will be a safe ripper
@@donaldliverance2597 how is street tires better traction that drag slicks? wtf you talking about. and unless they lied about the power output, the white one had 920whp while the red one had claimed 850 crank.
Its impressive how well that dude launched that red viper he was gone. Once he gets the viper be less sketchy he really can lay down some serious trap speeds.
I always loved the GTS body. There was and is nothing like it from the U.S. market. Amazing driving from throttlehouse. Most people would fishtail and spin out from a dig most likely with all that power.
These boys never disappoint on the competition 🔥 when I get my new M5 I'm going to try to get on the show because my RX8 is not going be able to handle all that work 😭
I don’t know how to fully explain it other than that was such a beautiful ass race… to see the transformation of an older gen viper with the heart of mopars stronger engine, go against a well set up gen 5 viper is fire! And both of the drivers were on their shit🔥🔥🔥
You can tell the ones that didn't get out in the shop in vocational classes during high school when he was surprised that students are learning tunes. I was in high school Auto II in the mid/latter 90s, when OBD2 was the current tech. We were tweaking the programming for OBD2 and OBD1 in DOS based programs, giving the PE coaches new life to their Berettas and Achievas lol
@Anthony Rowland The Hellcat engine is 125lbs lighter than an 8.3L Viper engine. When my 8.4 shits the bed, I've considered swapping in an aluminum 448ci Hemi with Redeye s/c, would save my car 175lbs and shift the weight further back.
@@blknblubkrdude more people would build v10s if shops didn't viper tax the shit out of everything. a 700rwhp na build is cool but not $40k cool when it can make over 600 with bolt ons.
My brother had a Trooper for years! Had 2 15s and 2 10s in it. It was ugly but was one resilient vehicle. Took it mudding several times and passed up trucks stuck
As many of said, but I feel it needs to be said again. It was enjoyable to watch this, I miss the days of mature conversations about differences in opinion. Well done to both of you.
Fuggin Clayton! My man! Went from running your old BMW 3 series to the bike..... when you are up near Waco again we gotta do some digs! I mean you will walk me like you always did on that bike but still..... you famous now!
So go from a 10 cylinder that can make 2500hp to a V8 that can make 2500hp? Different strokes for different folks with more money than responsibilities. Love it.
I wouldn't mind if Dodge continued to make the Viper with the 6.4 Hemi. That 1st gen Viper kinda won me over, that thing is party in the front AND twice the amount of party in the back.
