Darkside recently bought a new race car, and since I was at Croft with my E46 whilst they were testing it out I asked if I could have a go. Surprisingly they said yes.
The Audi RS 3 LMS is a production built race car from Audi, to TCR regulations. It's LHD only, and features the 2.0 TFSI engine with around 340hp. This is the very car I raced against at Snetterton, after some mechanical failures the previous owners decided to sell it.
This is the first of a couple of videos from Croft Circuit featuring a couple of ‪@DarksideDevelopments‬ cars as well as my own. More to come!

Nice driving Danny, that looked properly all over the place when on the brakes. Video is definitely better with stabilisation turned off. Maybe those who have never driven on track would rather it on, but personally, when I watch these videos I get excited as if I’m in the car with you. And I think stabilisation takes away from that, it just feels more raw and realistic without.

I think TCRs are setup like because it helps with rotation, I’ve also noticed it helps with tire temp management, The rears are tricky to keep in optimal range. But I’m going off the simulator😅 been racing TCRs for a few months Great driving and thanks for another awesome video Dan

TCRs are so fast ❤️. And this one is not even on slicks. The traction out of the corners is insane. I love how the pedalbox is made to left foot brake. I'm glad you had the opportunity to try one. How are the brakes compare a Volkswagen with a BBK ? Stabilisation off is better 😅.

On the pedal placement, maybe the previous owner set it up for left foot braking? Also the stabilisation was pretty cool imo

Yeah stabilisation is cool from a tech POV, I’ve enabled it for my M3 onboards I was using left foot braking but it felt foreign to be such a gap between the pedals. Never felt anything like it!

Think it’s deliberately setup to be rotaty on brakes/turn in, when you get used to it you’ll be able to use it to help turn in

Hard to tell from the comfort of a sofa but from the looks of it the brake balance is off which is affecting the hard, high speed braking. The front end grip/point ability does look great. It's what appears to be missing from Josh's Civic. Again, only sofa observations.

Bend it.. you mend it….Judging by the speed Dan got out of car when they were yanking his chain, I’m guessing you can’t just get them replacement splitters off eBay.
