A few weeks ago I went to a meet. People were fawning over a dude who "builds cars" and is sponsored by quite a few prominent companies. His new build is pretty much a new car with wheels and coilovers on it. Now that dude has companies throwing parts at him while you guys are genuinely making something no one has ever seen. What im saying is your cars are a thousand times better than a sponsored car builder with huge amounts of resources at their disposal. Keep up the good work guys!
George lets get one thing straight, RS3 owner are not haters they are just jealous because you have accomplish something they dream, can't have and you have done it. Keep it up and by the way it sounds scary nice.
George / Stav, you guys should be proud of yourselves. The sound is great but the quality of the craftsmanship, fit and finish is phenomenal. At high rpm this thing is going to sound like a fighter jet. Getting that whole package to fit and all of the electronics to communicate is short of a miracle. Can't wait to see this come to full fruition. Take your time and do it right. Keep up the great work and excitement for us all. We are rooting for you !!!
Congratulations George. Amazing job. Cant wait until you get it on the track. You're gonna shock a lot of people. Get ready to have people knocking on your door for one.
Ok, George, I'm impressed. I can't wait to see the final project. I know a lot of people were pissed about this given what you guys did with Hank, so it's awesome to see what you can do on your own. Have fun!
Anyone could tell you it sounds good/doesn’t. As long as it puts a smile on your face, crazy exhaust tips, very unique build! Awesome video, exhaust sounds phenomenal!🔥
I just came across this build!!! I have a vrt 12 valve gti and I love the rs3. However, the 5 cylinder is an amazing engine but a VR in an rs3 is gangster! Can’t wait to see more progress!!!
I don't know what is more insane.....this vRS3 or Jay Bullington's 4.0T B8.5 S4.........then add 034 Motorsport's take on the 4.0T S4 as well.....crazy year for project Audis!!!
You did the impossible and I'm really proud of you as your subscriber and I'm looking forward for more uploads of the V RS3 content because I really enjoy it, keep it up guys 😁💯🔥
Hi Guys, I am a big fan of this project, I drive a A3 2007 model Quattro 3.2 and I just love that car and that engine, you have done a amazing job so far and have been following the progress.. Regards Ben All the way from South Africa 😁
Firstly haters will always hate!!so let them get on with it.i love what guys are doing!as for the exhaust system I think it needs a muffler and that should give you a nice deep tone !!keep up the great work!!can't wait to hear/see it move under its own power!!
I congratulate you on your ability to have learnt how to weld aluminium. I have tried it in the past many years ago! But I just kept on blowing holes in the aluminium. I probably didn't work fast enough or that I had too much Amps on it. I just didn't have the guidance to learn it properly! But it's great to see that you have mastered it George 👍😁. Congrats my friend 👍
I love the badges, I want to hear it when it's outside of the shop, cut out the resonance. Might make it a little deeper without the higher pitched noises echoing.
It sounds nice and mean on a rough base tune, yet to be refined and should smooth that tone back to typical VR noise just with a huge straight pipe trumpeting away!
Was so excited to see this pop up. Let the haters hate brother. You're doing some great work and making your vision a reality. Keep at it because I can't wait to see the finished product and driving/dyno/track videos! Was great to see the front end buttoned up at the end of this video and 3 cheers to Stav for the VRS3 badges :)
Man I'm so stoked to hear this thing running!!! Amazing work guys congrats!! Time to make some boost and hurt some feelings... Some of the fastest Audi's vr6 powered and I love it lol. Haters gonna hate regardless man fuck em.
Hola Malaka !! ... I just waited for this moment and here I finally hear it purr fine..but if I waited so long I hope I can wait a little longer and everything will be done as it should be ... exhaust system ... I think that you should warm up and then listen to the sound of the exhaust ... otherwise I didn't think it would be as deep and honest as if I was missing a little something in the sound..some sophistication ... finesse ... but let's not rush and give it a go before what decisions the opportunity to warm up properly and then we decide ... greetings from distant Croatia...P.S - Se Yaa in the next 😁😉👌👍
Those badges are sweet, and that exhaust sounds wicked! It seems like it'll be a bit too loud to daily but sounds good man! Congratulations on getting it going!
Yea the IE exhaust is essentially straight pipe when the valves are open, we may add a nice muffler to help smoothen things out, but the VR6 is pretty grizzly when revving in general
@@MalakaMotorSports My son has a Mk4 Jetta with the 2.8 VR6 and it's straight piped, other than a Cherrybomb right after the manifold. While it's obnoxiously loud, it sounds pretty good... From 100 ft away! Lol
Damn fellas this brings a tear to my eyes wow it can be done!!!!!!! I know I say this every video but it’s gone sound good in my Tiguan LOL super excited!!!!! Love this!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍
George, great content as always man. I can't wait to see this thing ironed out and racing. Big question ; You want to do a W12 swap into my RS3 next ? 😅
I’m proud of you guys!!! F**k the hatters. They mad cause it’s wasn’t their idea. When you spank up a few rs3, haters will turn to fan boys. Guaranteed!! May the force be with you.
Very Nice guys, love the sound, it sounds different compared to most vr6's,vr's are the best sounding engines in my book so nice to hear it in a differnent tone, maybe it'sbecause the exhaust system is longer, don't know, i personally think it sounds perfect, i do have some feedback guys, with the best intentions, i used to be a volvo mechanic, and i was certified to work on automotive airconditioning system, i hate to tell you this but all those airco coppressor that you have there unplugged and open to atmosphere are basicly for the trashcan, a new airco compressor can only lay open to atmosphere(moisture) for a max of 10min before it becomes saturated with moisture, after that point the compressor will fail afterwards, at least thats what they told me.Like i said positive feedback here, don't want to be a hater on things, love what you guys do, and sorry to here you guys get so much hate for this project, these people need to realise that the entire vag group if based and build upon moddification, lego like parts interchange and basicly beeing a platform for tuning, racing and modification. If you guys where from germany, they would have praised you to heaven by now, people need to understand the brand and the heritage, vag themself do engine swaps in experimental stages, they make concept cars and experiment with things. So what you guys are doing is pure to the culture and roots of the entire vag group. But hey who am i right, just a guy who is turning a regular old 05 a3 quattro in to a self imagined RSR a3, and this video was perfect for me, now i know where to get my custom RSR badges, that was a great gift by the way.Great of Stav to do that.I will start checking you guys out on istagram, i made a concept of my RSR design, it's on my instagram @kennytabruyn if you want to check it out, i edited it with paint.net.let me guys know what you think, i spend a whole day designing the perfect front end of my car how i want to make it in real life.Good luck with the rest of the build guys, sorry for the long comment, but it was alot i wanted to share.👍✌️👉🙏
Howdy, If you used a A3 bracket from 2008 then the Vw equivalent will be a mk5 r32, Not a mk4. Nice work BTW from a fellow vr6 nut down under. Cheers, Douglas
