I originally got the stick on big red style ones. Agree it is more tacky after having run them for a few months. Really want these magnetic ones. The reason I run larger paddles is for ease of reaching the paddles at most angles. The smaller stock size can be a bit annoying to reach on certain turns, so I personally run larger to make it easy at any angle without needing go reach much. Your magnetic ones sound so good! I am jealous, and awesome that you did this yourself. I think I will try doing it myself as well because almost all the mods done to my RS3 I have paid my local performance shop to do. I want to do something myself, even if I am at it 5x as long 😅 Also, the engine lights are normal and should go away on the drive, or if you have an odb eleven / vag comm / Carly etc, you should be able to clear them.
Yeah the codes all went away after driving it which was a good relief. Prepare to rage trying to get the airbag off lol, unless you get a miracle and get it on the first try

i agree the stick on huge red ones are super ug🤮 i like a more OEM look. Yeah I think you're supposed to disconnect the battery before you start this job. I think that's why you got all those warning lights.
No it doesn’t as this can be reversed. They have to prove that what you have done caused damaged and voids the warranty. Installing new paddles doesn’t mean for instance it voids the engine if it blew up
I guess they didnt go away u fucked something up. Why would u replace the stock shifter with ones nearly identical all so u can hear a click? Thats dumb bro no offense put the bigger ones in so u can reach them with ur fingers when ur hands are lower on the wheel which is where they will be 99% of the time!
Because I don’t have that issue. It’s not purely for the sound, that is just a bonus for these paddles. These give a solid click where as the stock paddles you can accidentally click them for slightly clockwise them and second guess if the car will shift or not. If you like the longer paddles by all means put it on your car, I just think it looks tacky for my car
