Once you guys finish up the whole wiring harness, you should wrap the harness in Tesa tape. (You can find it on amazon for around $5-USD a roll) It's what we use here at the Audi dealership. It leaves no sticky residue, is very water resistant, and looks very clean in the engine bay. Good luck wiring the rest of that BEAST and I can't wait to see it on the road!

One thing about wire sizing. If you're powering something (like an injector) and have 20 an 22 gauge used for power and ground, you are limited to the smallest wire, so the 22. May as well use 22 for both. The other thing is resistance per-foot, so sometimes using larger wire makes sense if the distance involved gives you enough losses.

Soo happy to see you guys back at it. Love this kind of video because I'm terrified of wiring but you make it seem less intimidating even though it still seems complicated. Keep up the great work.

Thanks sir. It’s definitely intimidating when you look at it as a whole if you just break it down circuit by circuit it gets easier

This is what I’m here for. The pain in the ass stuff with no glamour.

Yep. The stuff nobody will see. But crucial to making everything work. It’s tedious but great to learn

Those pins and connectors are very similar to what I deal with on international trucks. Good video guys, looking forward to seeing it rip!

@@MalakaMotorSports maxxforce=job security lol more 466s on the road then dts n9s and n13s. The new stuff is way better and the gen 5 bcm is pretty incredible. Hooked up to a cummins they are almost as good as the the old stuff with 466s and series 60s.

I just don’t get this when daza is in the 7 and 8s. Not hating, just don’t understand.

Absolutely. Very familiar with the cars in the low 8’s and how many times they have been hurt needing rebuild and lifted heads and e wanted to use a power plant that is overall better. The dq500 is the key to the rs3 success
