Awesome video. I don’t do a pre launch when I’m at the track. Keeps the opportunity for heat soak down. I definitely think you would improve with different wheels and tires. For sure load up the stage 2 TCU. Nice work!
Thank you! I only did a pre launch to clean off some water cuz they sprayed too much and couldn’t even drive around it. Lol. But yea no doubt I’d shave off a couple tenths with stock wheels! Just purchased the stage 2 TCU upgrade. Going next weekend!😁
I have 6 near perfect 0.000X reaction passes in my life. When I try, it’s 0.0XXX or 0.1XXX. This is Test n Tune. I only care about reaction when I’m bracket racing at an event. I’ve been drag racing since before I could drive. Lol
Skip the pre-launch, these cars suffer badly from heat soak and with that open filter as well you’re better off not doing it. I think you could hit 11.3 with smaller wheels and better rubber man, 11.4 dead without the pre-launch. Awesome times, how’s the 034 on freeway pulls?
I needed to do the pre launch due to all the water these new kids at the track were spraying too much. Couldn’t even drive around it cuz they sprayed too much so I just wanted to clean the rubber off. But oh I bet stock wheels would easily put me at an 11.2. But yea the butt Dyno is great, thing pulls hard af till redline
@@WheelzAC ah that’s fair enough then dude, it’s easy to judge from my arm chair lol Dope. I added a racechip and XLR (cannot recommend the xlr more but not sure if 034 recommends it) and have an 034 carbon intake on the way. Have to find a strip once I have it installed. Great content man, looking forward to more.
@@brandonlong324 huge difference, even more than the racechip. Check my channel for my latest upload, you can see the kick down is instant, Id recommend it over any other mod honestly.
@@justinmunford2164 yeah for sure, definitely a LOT of weight. To each their own butttt when people post videos on youtube and post pics on Facebook and insta you DESERVE criticizing that’s just the nature of social media 💀🤣
I bought the car with these wheels on it. I have changed wheels a long time ago. But to your performance arguments, I don’t agree. Yea maybe logically it makes sense. But the car did not get faster with smaller lighter wheels. It ran the same times. Very negligible
I don’t agree. I’ve had both tunes for over 2 years. And I’ve switched back in forth countless times over the past 2 years. I literally did a comprehensive comparison video of the 2 tunes. I have Dyno’d and ran my car at the track countless times on both tunes. So I’ve done plenty of testing. Have you tested both to this extent?
Did you have to the have the transmission recalibrated as well? I did a stage 1 tune with intake on my A5 and it stalls going into second gear when I try to launch hard, unless I manually shift it. BTW, what is the HP and torque on your RS5 with the tune, exhaust, and intake upgrade?
Just be careful not to launch the car too much. Especially now you got power, this car has been known to crack its diff from launching! I have a nardo grey coupe. Bone stock but looking to eventually go stage 3 in a couple years
Nice dude! I’ve hand controls in my b9 rs5 sb - twist throttle push brake? Still getting the hang of the brake boost launch, although I generally prefer twisty canyons vs dragging. Bone stock thus far, next year I’m looking to apr tune, intake, and a Wagner intercooler.
Nice! Nope I use portable controls! Check out the videos I’ve made showing them! But hell yea that’s a good list. I’m looking into the APR intake, HPFP, and intercooler upgrade soon so I can turn up the tune to stage 2.
Killer numbers! I ran 11.89 last week with only the 034 intake. Curious on your 0-60 improvements and top end power with this tune? I need more justification to spend the money on stage 1..
Thanks! Yea I ran an 11.80 with just the intake on my last video! But yea it was totally worth it to me. Most of the noticeable difference is in the top end and with the launch. Very much felt on the butt Dyno! Lol. If I didn’t have the big wheels with thinner tires I’m sure I’d get an 11.2 easily.
You mean 30 series tires just like the OEM ones?😂 And a 1.2 or faster 60’?🤔😂 It would never happen. U must not hit the drag strip much🤷🏻♂️ This car at its best would only pull off a 1.5. That’s with best driver/launch and best tires. If you don’t believe me, just go look at 034 Motorsports world record time in their B9 RS5 just recently uploaded. I’ve been doing this for years. I race my daily and race car differently. This is my daily driver I’m having fun with. I’m not trying to nor am I interested in changing my setup to get a better time. Join the crowd of ppl trying to tell me what to do with my cars!🙌🏼🤷🏻♂️😂
I don’t care about reaction times! Lol. They don’t matter unless you’re bracket racing. This is just test n tune. Do u even 1/4 mile yourself? Anyone who does this shit knows that doesn’t matter.😂
