Bmw wouldn’t know what to make if Mercedes didn’t exists. THE BEST OR NOTHING. Its not even a black series and its was very hard for the bmw to gap at some points and its lighter than the amg . Lets see what happens when the E63 EQ is here!

Yes, I figured it was the driver’s fault in the race against the M8 Competition because every automotive platform has recorded a 2.8 second 0-60 time for the M5 Competition but yet it was getting blown out by a car with the same drivetrain....SMH...he needs better drivers
@@thierry6155 no, he did not cheat. Others were too slow and he was very fast on it. If you slow down the video, then you can see it clearly that he didn't cheat.

Its the car..he just sits back and watches once he lets the brake go, changing gear is optional and the car is better at it so in the same conditions it will always be consistent.
@@trackfocussed9810 matt just doesnt know how to activate the lc process correctly and for some reason it was spinning up..i find the lc on my m6 comp easy now, there's a slight delay and you have to time it right, the guy today wasn't a better driver so to speak he was a guy who knows bmw's and how to use lc properly, id have done the same and im not lewis Hamilton even if i act or pretend to be :)

@Racerx247 no, the model s might be faster in one run, but sadly it can't deliver its performance reliable over and over again in more than 3 (drag) runs. Also we all know how poorly built with less quality materials the teslas interior is. Not worthy for a vehicle that costs as much as an E class..
i mean 2 years later the M5 is not sweating, easily keeping up with the competition. if i was the ceo of audi id make the rs6 faster than m5 comp considering its new.. not sure what audi was thinking.

Sure BMW started it & lead it for a while but bare in mind the GLE Coupe C292 was the first attempt Mercedes made in that class & it wasn't far off, wait till Matt races the latest X6M & GLE 63S Coupe, that's what will count.
Beast mode from the M5 - the king of kings! ‘The most powerful 4 door sedan’ when it debuted back in the 80s and reclaimed its title with the M5 comp pack. Glad they brought the 4 wheel drive to the M cars - much needed!
1pr007 I like the BMW the most but those are all subjective personal choices...if we did not like different things there would be only one of each which won’t be cool...:-)
U realise it was a drag race with an auto box... U literally hold right fppt down...wasnt the drivers fault, that car has a famously faulty launch control and short shift issues
Its a saloon the others are estates the Merc and BMW are the competition and S performance versions of the marques, so not really a surprise. Also Matt must have the worst reactions he was sat there revving up and down with the RS when he should have been flooring the throttle and releasing the brake. We'll need to see what happens with the RS6 performance
@xellossaxon bmw has always made faster cars than mercedes and audi anyways. but the bmw weight 140kg less than the rs6 and 130less than the mercedes. thats not enough to be that far ahead. if the bmw weighed the same as the audi and mercedes, the bmw would still win
@xellossaxon not true the M5 is currently the best executive saloon and the fastest.. It beat the likes of E63s, Hellcat, dodge demon, the list goes on..check video posts on RU-vid.
