You Sir, have saved me hours trying to work it all out. Took me 2 1/2 hrs from start to finish. Thank heavens people like you exist on RU-vid. Massive thanks.
This guy has saved my ass more times than I can count. He's got the experience, the know how, and makes incredibly detailed, straight to the point videos. Awesome.
Me and my friend did this today on my S4, although it took a bit longer than you did!, however if it wasn't for your detailed video it would have taken much longer still. so thank you very much for taking the time to explain this :)
thank you for this video guys, about to do this myself and this has filled me with confidence. for your's and other reference, my local audi dealership (who are actually really helpful) have told me that when you slide forward the radiator support, they replace the original mounting bolts with extra long ones so that the radiator support sits on the bolts and doesn't just hang there
This is a very good video,i plan on doing mines sunday cause it just broke into 2 pieces,so does that snub mount go in when you push the radiator support back into place????
thank you for this video, I have a question, at the 20-minute mark at the video, you are placing the bracket assembly back into place, at the bottom of the bracket assembly, there is a round donut shaped mount made of soft rubber, I can not find that part anywhere, my radiator bracket pad/mount/insulator is completely rotted. What is the part number and correct description of that part, a link to the part would be great.....thanks for anybody that can help.
+EDGEMOTORS finished couple hour ego. Likely did not have to remove anything else besides ac hose that run right underneath the tensioner itself. It was on the bottom so was easy to remove unlike my 2.8L that i had to take it to a dealer. Took me about an hour or so.
Exactly. You jus remember what certain ones look like what, and most only fit in one spot. Lol then you look at your left overs and figure it out from there 😂😂😂 but he's absolutely right. It comes with loads of experience.
+Глеб Выгонный and you should be, about 90% of them had or will have the chain problem at around 100k miles. I'd replace all of the chain components, and would use oem parts... The total for all the parts is well over 2000$ just in parts
it's funny that these motors did not have automatic tensioners I guess they did not have enuf room I think it would be a good idea to start the car before you put everry thing back on just to see that all is ok but then again if youre confidendent that all is ok then go a head install and then start the car but for a newbe I think it would be ok safe to check before starting the car it's not the best model to replace the belt on the side of the road.
@e314ds sold it last week haha, that exact car from ny, b6 s4 vert with the same wheels everything, that car was in my hands lmao. burned through 5qts of oil a week, it was trashed
