Whats good? Appreciate your upload just noticed a few things from my experience. On my s5 you can access the fog Iight bulb from behind the wheel well cover all you have to do is turn the wheel all the way to left or to the right for drivers side and remove two screws and it's enough room to reach in and grab the bulb. I also realized that when I attempted to remove the front cover your way a clip snapped upon removal. Now it does thankfully go back in place but the seal isn't as tight as the other side I didn't touch.
Cavin Smith you absolutely can go from the wheel well to change a bulb. This was replacing with brand new oem fogs because the old ones was pitted from road debris. The way I did here was on the driver side you must pull from the left, because the clips are on the right side. The passenger side you pull from the right corner out to the left because the clips are on the left side!
@@j23a45m Gotcha that all makes sense. I felt like it would break after I gave it a good pull that day and decided to look for other ways. The fog lights I put in made a huge difference and they match my headlights. Nice bright white no yellowish color.
Sorry, I thought you said you had an LED in there already. My S5 has just regular halogen bulbs. What bulbs did you get for the fog lamps? Want to put a brighter bulb in there. Thanks for any suggestions. Also, how much were the new lamp housings? Great video, it being a German car I would have figured it was serious pain in the ass to do!
@@j23a45m NP my guy, I appreciate the info. with them being LED's did you have to modify the housing to fit it? Sorry for an extra question, I should have added this in my original question. Thanks!
Hi mate, hope you still using this account. Just replace my one and they works only if you press the fog light button. They don't work when you open the car, they don't work when you leaving the car and cornering light suport doesn't work as well, what can be a problem?
@@j23a45m thanks for the reply. Yeah it probably is the gasket, when I changed the bulb to led I noticed it doesn't fit as snug. After a short time I had condensation. The problem now is that I need to get the water out, just changing the gasket will not be enough. Hence j asked about the breather holes
@@j23a45m appreciate the the reply’s and original vid. Best of luck with the Audi! Mine has a been a good car for the 120,000 miles I have put on it! Peace!
just replaced mine and they wont turn on they fit perfect too, but the car detected both fog lights out... there LEDS, why are they not working boss. do I need VCDS coding?
What bulbs are you using, if they’re not working it can be one of three things. Either bad bulbs, not plugged in the right direction, or not plugged in all the way. Coding is only needed if you’re having a voltage error!
Just tried removing my fog covers and this method doesn't work because the small circle which you pulled on is on the opposite side so it's looking like a bumper off job
