I had a B5 S4 MTM Stage 2, my ex wife totaled it. Now I have a B6 A4 (full turbo back, 550cc injectors, tune). I miss the 2.7T torque compared to the laggy on/off power of the 1.8T.

@@NorthPoleRacing true..only thing is I need more equipment like a welder n some welding lessons..I'm the definition of budget builder..I turned a 7.9 on the 1/8 and my flywheel also broke on the light and pretty much stripped my clutch...but still a 7.9 I'm now smfw and stage 4spec clutch..best I could afford...but back to the point...the top mounts are so sexy...I'd like to have two 3inch dumps coming out of hood

I think it's a safe bet he studied engineering in college. This dude is better at tuning than ALL of us, combined. Any fool with a wallet can pay for a tuned car. This dude actually deserves it.

one of my all time favorite cars, the b5 s4.. one day i will build you.... and my audi love all started with my first audi, a b5 a4 s-line k-04+ full bolt on setup.. i felt that when you said, "anyone who has owned an a4, really wants an s4".. a month into owning my a4 i wanted an s4.... lol

Nice work. I have a Tial 605 version of your car with less power and understand the passion. I'd keep an eye on that radiator though. Without tying the top corners of the structure together where it mounts it's going to get stressed after some use. Leaks at the tank to header joint or tube leaks would be what I'd look for. ;)

Had an A4 B5 1.8T Quattro with forged internals and a big turbo until last year. It was extremely clean, looked and felt like it had 0 miles. Took me nearly 4 years to build it to that point. Last year I sold it to get a Porsche 997 C2S. Shouldn't have done that. The Porsche is a fantastic car, but I miss the turbo engine of the Audi so much...

Its running a completely different ecu. The stand alone runs a speed density system.

What stand alone unit are you running? and how was it learning to tune on that? Are you gonna leave it at that HP? maybe reaching close to the block limits. I hope mine will be as good some day! Im just getting my stage 3 done this week with K24's but already have plans to buy a separate block to build on the side with more goodies. Hope to see some race vids from you soon keep it up!

love the wheels and silver paint. Trues statment ever about a4 to s4 . I have an 01 a4 with 1.8t i found at a towing company with bent vaves due to timing belt.Purchased rebuilt the head and replaced that piston and love it to death.

Love the build, I’ve had 2 A4’s still have the second and, I can compare my 2.8l N/A Quattro to the vq engine stock to stock, love then man any dirt patch I see I hit and brand new winter tires stock 2.8 can spin all 4, no joke love Audi b5’s hands down best first car and even if your an auto enthusiast you know they have lots of torque and can put down some ok power!

I cut the cosmetic section thats tack welded in to seal the area around the wheel well. No structural material was cut out. There is new metal welded in now though :) Cars been kicking ass and taking names without issues (related to the strut tower anyways haha).

The only shop I knew doing the top mount was WDR, do you sell a manifold kit? Can you easily swap turbos, like going from a RS6, to K04, to Tial 605s, etc?

It did, and we rebuilt it, then it blew again... and we rebuilt it again. We girdled the block but that hasnt stopped it from cracking. A billet blocks is in the works
