I don’t think it’s accepting fate. It’s a calculated decision. He tried to commit to the turn and over shot. Now make the best outcome of the crash by going on the sidewalk and got bumped into the buffer zone. He didn’t just say Jesus take the wheel.
He may be skilled to be competing in a TT, but it was a full on mistake that caused that crash. And honestly he could have recovered it on the bike path.
@@jparky7585I meant good skill in minimising damage to himself. I’m no skilled fast road rider, but I would suggest staying on the path, at the speed, would’ve created heightened risk of hitting one of the posts and causing significant more harm to himself.
You’re not awkward at all . I think vids of anything !! No need to plan or overthink just video doing daily jobs , maybe shopping 🛒 n finding cheap deals , making food , rocking the trucks , choppin wood . General down to earth stuff and you’ll cover all bases for a while and then people will get to know you all and the more genuine you are ( just be you ) the more folks can fall in love with you all I’ve really enjoyed this video Thank you 🙏🏼
If he found some courage of leaving brakes when on the pedestrian path he could have returned on the road. But when you keep breaking you keep going where you were going
Makes sense, but if he was braking that hard on the footpath, I think he would have lost the front when it touched the grass. Do you think it was more target fixation?

That was skilled. He knew to stay straight as possible in the grass after excepting coming in too hot. He tried his best to slow it down and tried to keep safe.
How can you have target fixation at that level? He would have been fine if he committed to the turn and leaned in more. He realised he was going too quick, focused on where he was headed instead of where he wants to go and then stood the bike back up. That’s text book target fixation. Good riders low side during an under steer crash because they lean the bike to its limits in vein to try and make the turn. He shouldn’t be in that race if target fixation is still an issue for him.
High speed target fixation. Don't hit the guide post, hold on stay upright, then don't crash in the dirt. This is what i imagine went through his mind in a split second.
