probably the golden era of Audi - this A8 generation w/o the fkng tablets, but in Audi Exclusive with aluminuim buttons man... And with the possibility to buy somewhere MTM Talladega R kit = and the probably most beautifull never build "RS8" is the maximum you can get. ( imo )
The problem with chip tuning is, that the combustion temperature rises and this makes the valves and esp. ignition sparks brittle and can cause piston eater. If you put a endoscope in a chip tuned combustion engine, you see that everything is there pale white.
PEAK Audi IMO. Loved the 2010s era, Mercedes with E and S classes, A6, A8 Audis, BMW 5-7, knobs, buttons, beautiful analog+digital instruments 2in1 here, I will miss this 10years of car history.
D4 S8+ in my opinion, the most beautiful performance limmo ever! It looks sporty, classy and sophisticated at the same time. Only W223 Benz can match the look, but talking performance models, AMG gonna make S63 look worse than Audi from 2016 (sorry AMG).
This last generation of a8/s8, before the new model, is the best one, the interior still had a different layout from all other Audi model. Nowadays the a8 interior looks way to close from the a6/a7
Ale to auto jest piękne wewnątrz. Nie ma poròwnania do tych tabletòw, szkieł i tanich plastikòw co montują w obecnycg autach. Obecne trendy jeszcze bardziej wyeksponowały jego walory. Super car. Super Audi.
What is your test criteria? I can't seem to follow you... 100-200 perhaps? What some folks don't know is the chip can take up to 150 km before it fully synchronizes with the vehicle.
I think Germany is a funny place sometimes, it is illegal to hold or use your phone whilst driving, but you can use watch and do as you wish with any tablet or laptop you like whilst driving, so long as it has no phone function such as sim card or phone capability on it. Not that any one would but it is indeed true.
Im still afraid to install a tuningbox though... ive heard and read so many bad things about them. My car still has warranty and all, but i really dont want to hurt the engine. For a 100k euro plus car im afraid of the consequences.
Don't buy any rece chips they terrible very often push engine too much and some times improvement is negligible. If you really want more power, go for complete ecu remap with good tuner. That way you're going to have bespoke tuning for your car. Good tuner is not going to push engine and its components over the max threshold.
i just put a racechip on my 8v rs3 (still under warranty). It really pulls now! 90% of my driving is to and from work, so 90% of the time the car is "stock", so i'm not worried about damage to my engine etc. Would highly recommend it!
Will never know if this overclocking is stable and there is no economical value in high velocity road like this, but not nesseraly picking best components for your needs, half HP is more than somebody would want to have.
I have the RS model from race chip for Audi A6 C7 3.0 TDI. After the Installation i have put it on Stage 6 and went for a test drive. It feels instantly the power and torque. You fly in the seat more aggressive than before. It should have nearly 300 hp from 270 hp with the chip,
@@AutoTopnl since 2 years. I made with that chip 20.000 km. The Car is driving very fine and the gear changes are working normal as before. And what I have expected as well is that the consumption went from 10L on Autobahn to 8.
Are all autobahn sections de-restricted to speed limit or is there a speed limit in between? And what cities are close to no speed limit sections of autobahn?
These cars were monsters. However it’s quite sad this D4 S8 (even stock) is faster than the new S8s, RS6/7s. None of them can match the 100-200. Shame, it’s like Audi went backwards.
All speedometers have some play and the GPS is already accurate, but the GPS also has some play - Signal also needs its time. I think realistically it will be just under 310 kph.
