Hello and welcome to another Unboxing video from BOAB Models. Today we'll be looking at the 1986 Audi Sport Quattro S1 in 1/24 scale from Nunu Platz model kits. This is a recently released kit and my first build of a Nunu or Beemax model so I'm looking forward to it.

The word quattro is derived from the Italian word for "four" to represent the fact that the vehicle drives on all four wheels. The name has also been used by Audi to refer to the quattro four-wheel-drive system, or any four-wheel-drive version of an Audi model.

That’s a great looking kit Thomas! I’ve always been fascinated with rally cars but have not built one yet. I’ll have to see your review and browse the website when it comes online. Great unboxing, love the historical footage and sound clip at end .

Thanks a lot Richard. I always loved that the cars in rally were usually the same ones I saw on the road in real life except now they were 4WD and tearing up mountain roads!

awesome unboxing, great to see exactly what comes in the kit! I was so looking forward to the italeri kit, but was hugely let down , whereas this kit looks spot on. I look forward to seeing you build this

Thanks mate. I know exactly what you mean as I was similarly disappointed with the Italeri Lancia Delta. I think both kits were reboxes from the '80s whereas this one here is brand new.

I've never heard of D.Models before, are they FB and Instagram only ? I never have done the social media. I was lucky enough or old enough to see the Group B rally cars for real in the mid 80's, have to admit I preferred the long wheel base A2 quattro best, I look forward to seeing you build this, I don't have this kit so am intrigued to see what you think.

Yeah, they do social media stuff but they are opening a website shop this week on Wednesday - I'll share a link when it's open.

Hey THOMAS NUNU DO GREAT KITS IV FEW IV 306 PEUGEOT AND THE E36 BMW AND FEW MORE BUT NEVER COME WITH PE OR ENGINE DETAILS WITH THE PRICES ON THEM 65 TO 75 A KIT IN MY LOCAL HERE IN IRELAND BUT NICE KITS👍KEITH

Hi Keith - yeah, I've seen a lot of variation in the prices too - most over £35 but can be up to 60ish.
