The new V8 TFSI is a better engine. It has more hp and accelerates faster (in 4.1seconds comparing to 4.8 in TDI). Moreover, TFSI is much lighter and therefore it eliminates understeering. And it sounds way better than the diesel....
@@MAN__IN__BLACK I can afford and I actually own a Macan Turbo which fuel bills (in Europe) are outrageous for someone that has to deal with a big daily commute. I do have a comfortable financial situation but like many of us around here im no millionaire so i try to get some nice balance between performance and running costs. Before the Macan Turbo (great car btw) I had a 535d almost as fast on the real world and far more economical. I do not wish to “fight” about this, just making a point for the rationale of big diesels which, in my view, are being ruled out too soon. Cheers!
