Yo, nice video! I am in the process of doing the same install on my 2016 TTS in the same color and I'm very thankful that you mentioned painting the crash bar because mine is silver as well.
The bottom of the new grille and the bumper have different connecting points, they mainly have an extrusion that interferes with fitment, just had to shave them down, As for the rest, I don't recall.
Just use Plastidip. And you don’t need a lift. Remember to put a cover done if you’re doing this on concrete (which I’m surprised they didn’t do). Also when spraying the crash bar, remember to put a cloth behind it to block overspray from going onto the radiator
