Hopefully the diff holds! Be cool to have a relatively cheap and simple swap like that. I can attest to the spulen diff mount, have it on my rs4 and I launch the hell out of it! Nowhere near your power levels but it really helped make launches smoother and get the power down.

That's awesome that diff setup will work. Im stoked to see how well that welder melts some metal.

I have a b6 a4 3.0 rear diff going in my 01 b5. I was just going to try to use the b6 driveshaft but don't mind doing a custom one piece if needed. Looking forward to your progress.

So I'm good don't need to upgrade the diff in my shitbox b6 a4 wagon. Would be cool to see any vids on rebuilding the diff itself and products/companies used

Hell yea Stav! This should be interesting.

I use the b6 2.5 tdi rear diff with driveshafts. At the wheel side i use bigger front joints. It has the same amount of teeth and diam.

Early b6 a4 3.0 came with 01e's, couldn't you just grab the driveshaft from that?

Yikes...that rear diff carrier...cracked mine on a launch....had to go with the 034 Apokol rear diff carrier...never had another issue.

Not worried about difference in gear ratios front/rear with a different differential?

Just to confirm you said the diff is from b6 A4, not b6 s4? And if it is from b6 A4, does it matter what power plant, 1.8t, 3.0?

that looks exactly like a differential from a c5. Pull the driveshaft off a c5

All the b6 rear diff's are 4.11?
