@@M4X1 sometimes people is lazy, or just doesn't understand even simple pc setting, my sister had this kind of problem with no audio on laptop, thankfully I know when it comes to pc/laptop, so I fix it for her
Dang people really got to think for themselves, if someone did this at my shop I would have a talk with them about trying to trouble shoot themselves especially something this simple it can be a big waste of time for some shops
Nah it is pretty common issue. People being dumb. I guess older generations do this better atleast matchup the signs on the motherboard and headset before sending it for repair
@@Gokul_Ytmatching the signs to the back of the system its just his headset and microphone are a 2 in 1 so he had to confirm settings which cord was his headset and which one was the mic.
To be fair, if I had to deal with this, $100 per B.S would be a fair price. I'm starting to understand Geeksquad (except they should probably actually fix stuff)
Man I have recently been having headphone issues but I think I have fixed it. I recently installed a 4kpro in my streaming pc and my audio was trying to go thru the capture device so my game always sounded like I'm in a tunnel thankfully RU-vid being the best friend it's always been has helped me out all I had to do was disable the audio driver and works great now
Not so random tech tip: I used to have an issue where I never got audio on my W10 laptop out of my AUX/Speakers but only ever made sound using HDMI, driver issue, update your drivers people!
I don't blame them in a way, Realtek Console can be a pain to deal with. I once uninstalled and blocked Nahimic, and I unknowingly removed a driver for Realtek Console so it wouldn't work until I fixed it.
I hope services like these were there there i live in india 😞...i face a lot of pc related issues but i have noone to help me ..i always have to search the internet or figure out things by myself ....and im not that rich kid who can ask parents to buy something new as soon as it misbehaves
Oh trust me... When you tell customers to google it themselves they will say no or they didn't know about it. Or they don't want to do it and end up wasting money that could have been a super easy fix.
I have the legit same set and I can’t hear a lick of anything but my mic works when I use the audio without the mic it works and honestly I’m stumped games aren’t fun without audio
I don't really understand why the front radiator is pushing out air, honestly. Since it's getting the air pushed from the top and back fan, it's getting basically all the hot air from the GPU, not smart As bad as that Nzxt case can be, the radiator in front needs to push in air
I looked up "Why are my headphones not working" and found this video and as soon as it started playing my headphones were magically fixed sooooo thanks.
I feel like more people should at least try to resolve these kind of issues by themselves. It feels silly knowing you sent over your computer to a repair shop just because of one setting.
I had a problem where my headphones suddenly stopped working while it was plugged into the headphone jack at the top of my PC case. I though my headphones died at first, but I eventually realized that the headphone jack randomly stopped working. I don't know how to fix that problem still, but I found out that my PC had more headphone jacks at the back side of it, which worked. Maybe your customer was plugging their headphones into the top of their case like me, but their top headphone jack was also broken like mine, and it only worked for you because you plugged the headphones into the back of the PC
Another thing to check when you have audio problems like this is any third party software, like steelseries sonar, which might occasionally change your default output/input device
I know this channel is supposed to spread more awareness to your shop, but idk if telling everyone that someone called in because of an issue is gonna attract customers. Those are just my thought though.
This same thing happened to me with the same exact headphones and i just fugured it out cuz in console u dont have to plug in the splitter but on pc u do
I don’t know why the customer didn’t even put effort into trying to fix it 🤦♂️ it’s literally so simple and since they may have not known what to do they could of used google and it would of helped them a lot.
12-14 year olds will build their first pc ever with just RU-vid guidance, it’s really not even remotely difficult to take 2-5 minutes to troubleshoot things on their own like this for full grown adults…
1st why isnt he using the USB soundcard that came with that head set, its literally the same head set i have, and i recommend the thx spatial audio app by razer for that head set.
Maybe your customer tried to plug in their headset via the front panel, and it doesnt work If thats why, it could be a front panel connector issue like mine
People send their pc back for the smallest issues lol I don't wanna go even a day without my PC so I figure out and fix everything myself.. and I'm no PC guy! Lol
just seems weird how every single story says the customer ships their pc after having it for a couple of weeks, not to mention you build a lot of them?
I have those headphones, they are absolute dogshit. It took two weeks for the mic to stop working which was conveniently just past the return window of where I bought it from. Do not buy them.
