Could it be possible to get a copy of the circuit diagram and parts list? This is exactly what Im looking to build with the Arduino I got but I cant find it anywhere. Thanks!
+Devin Kimmey Hey man, yeah it was a bit of a stress getting all the info together when I did the project 6 months back... Cause it was for uni though, you are in luck! I had to do loads of written work for that, here is a link to my blog starting where you need to be. All the info you need is in there, a parts list and step by step tutorial of how to go about building the circuit. Its pretty simple, but there are a few areas where issues can occur. My advice would be to buy double the number of MOSFETS you needs, they break easily as I found out, sometimes they simply dont work... Also get 2 or 3 MSGEQ7's, as if something goes wrong, you may short it out. Then, like I did, you may build a fully working circuit except for a broken MSGEQ7!! Anyways, I am online a lot so if you need any help or advice along the way I would be more than happy to help you out, just get me on here. If you mind me asking, is this for another uni project or a performance style thing? Or just for home enjoyment? allabouthonours.blogspot.co.uk/search?updated-max=2015-04-07T17:03:00-07:00&max-results=7&start=7&by-date=false Cheers!
+Mike Synct Its just for home enjoyment. A friend of mine gave me an arduino uno last year for my birthday and I havent used it. Thought this would be a cool thing to do with it. And thanks! Ill let you know how it goes
+Mike Synct Another question. I was looking over the coding and parts list on your blog (haven't started because I am saving up for it). I am a bit confused on how you got the music to still play on the speakers while its still connected to the LED strip. I am hoping to switch the audio jack to a bluetooth so that I can connect it to my phone and play music, but I want to understand it before I attempt to make that possible. Thanks!
