It might not be a public right of way which only means that if the site is re-developed that the path would have to stay. As it isn't, if the site is re-developed the path might change or disappear. But it is a "public place" as defined by case law - Knox v Anderton [1982] 11 WLUK 98

At 54 I only realised why we live in a free country the other day. We are free to do what ever we want unless there is a law against it. I did though forget the dim security guard clause, we have to abide by everything an SIA bade holder tells us even if it in a public place. I hope they get paid a lot of money for the responcibilty they carry, they are very important people.

As it's a dead end road the truck drivers will know this and I presume that's why the enter the left turn and swing wide, regulations you put on screen allows this as the chevron area is bordered by a broken white line. Had it been a solid line then the driver would not be allowed to make such a turn. I think an enlarged exit is work in progress and driver will have a wider exit. I love it when gate guards have a law degree from a cornflake packet.

That delivery company is one of the worst. Their drivers continue to leave the company so the new ones know nothing about areas because they are not there long enough. Getting in touch for a lost parcel is ALSO impossible and the sender has to be out of pocket to send a new item. Sorry case in my view.

Reply to their questions with your questions. It keeps them on the defensive. They will continue to ask questions and talk as long as you answer them.
