The Co-operative Housing society is no doubt an autonomous and self-reliant endeavor. However, once every year, it is subject to the scrutiny of an outside agency to have its financial statements audited. For this purpose, it hires the services of financial experts per government laws. Annual account audit of a co-operative housing society is mandated by the Constitution of India. The model bye-laws state that it is the responsibility of the Managing Committee to do an Accounts Audit within a period of six months from the closure of the financial year and before the Notice of Annual

Hello Sir very interesting n learning experience for me thank u so much for teaching us ,Sir I have serious problem regarding my society management committee from kalyan the committee has not done audit for the past 2years n AGM not held for the past 2years also,secondly the audit report is not authentic means its copy paste, no audit rectification report,I have compliant to dy registrar u/s 75-5 to take action and disqualify the committee for 5yrs, but the Registrar disqualified the for only 1year,pls advice me what should I do.Thank u sir,hoping for advice soon.

That is wrong . All members needs to join and arrange one general meeting and ask him to submit and do sign off MOM and if not solve then desolve committee and make new

Sir, 6 flat ke building 1 hai,aur ek 42 flat ke building 2 hai, building 1& 2 ke ek hi society hai, all sabhi committee members building 2 ke hai. Kya building 1 apni society separate ker sakte hai.
