I love this scene. A frightened human being who is trying to make sense in this scared world.

There aren't any BAD recordings of this song. (Lyricist Johnny Mercer hardly gets any credit because of the huge talent of Henry Mancini.) Anyhow, This is THE ultimate recording because it includes the choir singing in the last couple of minutes, AND their recording is the only one in the whole, wide world that features that unresolved "seventh" chord right at the end.--or whatever you call that feature. I'm 78 and this is the one I grew up with back in the early '60s. St. Joseph, MO, USA, June 15, 2022.
