same. thought it’s not my fault, my biggest regret will be not being alive during the same time as audrey. my most favorite human being and I wasn’t even alive to breath the same air as she did. what I wouldn’t give to go back in time and meet her, to shower her with love and support. unfortunately, now we’re stuck with vulgar and classless “celebrities.”

@@michaelhawkins7389And he was (and still is) handsome. Tall and blonde. Now he’s at the age where they call him distinguished. He’s just retired from acting at 90 after 160 films. He did a great film about 5 years ago called King of Thieves. He played a long time crook (true story) who with a gang robs a safety deposit box business in London called Hatton Garden. He’s quite menacing in it. He and his wife Shakira have been married for 50 years.

Lisa Brooks Totally agree......Even though she looks stunning as usual along the 80s...there's some sparkle in her face, her eyes, her words, her attitude.....we had briefly seen in Breakfast at Tiffany's and when "the Princess" had it her way in Roman Holiday. Such a splendid "third act" she could have given to us on screen....but she devoted her last years to her humanitarian labour. God bless her for that much happiness she brought to our lives.

yes but the cancer was at the near end stage when diagnosed. It was assumed to have been growing slowly over approximately 5 years.

@@cinnamon709yeah you are right,. In 1992 at age 62, she developed belly pain and her doctors found a cancer in her appendix called pseudomyxoma peritonei. This is an extremely rare cancer that starts as a small polyp in the appendix. The cancer cells produce large amounts of mucous, called mucin, that slowly accumulate in the appendix until it bursts. The cancer cells and mucous then spread throughout everything inside the belly to cause pain, constipation or diarrhea, loss of appetite and extreme tiredness. Hepburn returned to her home to Switzerland and spent her last days at home. On January 20, 1993, she died in her sleep. Nobody knows what causes this horrible cancer, as there are no known genetic, familial or environmental factors. We do not know if severe food deprivation in childhood increased Hepburn's risk for dying from cancer later in life.
