The video is probably a week behind but if you're foot is still hurting, you can try some alternative shoe lacing patterns to relieve pressure from the shoe.

This adventure is going to be over way too soon, just 130ish miles left 😢. Depending on upload lag time, you might already home, 130 more miles is no step for a stepper, unless your foot issues persisted. It's been so much fun joining you on this hike. Thanks for sharing it with those of us who can't get out right now. Can't wait to see the rest. BTW I was in your home state for a few days this week, working. Stayed in Cape Girardeau. Didn't get to explore any, basically drove in on Sunday, was at the courthouse Monday and Tuesday, back to the hotel to scan docs, etc., and drove home Wednesday.

What a gorgeous section of trail! Audrey, I am so jealous! Enjoy every day that you can. I can no longer hike due to Lyme Disease, but I did get to hike the Sierras. They were great but this is just spectacular! Cheering you on. geek

I hope you enjoy Lake City. If you are going to the Post Office or the Country Store to resupply. I recommend the bakery. It is across the parking lot to the north of the Country Store. If my wife and I had been home this week. We certainly would have invited you over for a meal and to use our laundry. When you get back on trail, about 2.5 miles the CT turns off of the double track and onto a single track. The next mile or so you should see more moose. We usually make extra noise so we don't sneak up and spoke them. Great Job! You will be in Durango in no time.

You're moving right along - not an easy trail. That was the first thru hike I ever did. I will be interested to know how you compare the Colorado Trail with the AT; understanding that the length is not comparable.
