Hi Tracey. You were talking anout Romanesco cauli. I've got some on the go. The jury is out on that lol. My red cabbage (Kalibos) is a strange shape. I picked one of my Gplden Acre cabbages and it was also slug bitten. As I peeled the layers, I discovered how far in the slugs had gone so beware. Your onions are very respectable. Mine had rust so they're out and dried. Birds also like a bit of strawberry as do slugs. As long as you're happy with what you are getting out of the garden, that's the main thing. Life totally gets in the way sometimes Tracey but you have had some spectacular harvests. I am finding the same thing it was too hot this year so I’ll have to make changes next year. Beans are ok but last year I had loads to freeze. Tomato plants are huge but tomatoes are pfft. Oh well onwards and upwards 👍👍. Happy birthday bad boy 😂😂 no not you Carl, Reuben 🥳. Hi Ali, life has been so hectic last few months but it will hopfully settle down for next year. Our beans are just growing canny but I didn't plant as many as last year as still got some in the freezer. Forcast good weather for the next week so can't complain. Have a great week ahead x

The confession was so funny 🤣 he came and seen us in person too after the txt and was like curiosity got the better and I came in and just some bizarre reason took a onion 🌰 🤣🤣🤣 We have been flat out the last 5 months lol I don't really do winter veg and being honest it's a break for us 😅 I say it each year but I'm.going to be more organised next year lol 😆
Your onions seem to be doing better than mine Tracey, are the red ones red baron by any chance ? Cheers for the mention, you cant go wrong with tweed. Even your shallots look better than what i had. I only have about 10 spring onions left so i have just sown somemore and also come cauli and brocolli as all mine bolted. We cant control the weather and we have had some horrible weather over the last 3- 4 months, i am looking forward to when everything is finished, then i can plan for next year and get my beds sorted again. It is hard to manage an allotment when you work full time, but it is doable, its when other unforseen things crop up, like the camper van conversion, the bairns prom, the prom takes presidence over the allotment and the conversion gets time split with the allotment, nest year will be different for yous i am sure. @@Jimmy.Plot.41.b I'm happy with the onions so far, yeah the red onions are baron. We usually grow them but they never usually come to anything. Iv just had my birthday, Ruben's birthday and it's our sons 16th coming up so sorting a party lol I need a holiday 🤣🤣🤣
